Did you know that 🧘‍♀️ yoga can be a powerful complement to your child's ABA therapy? This National Yoga Awareness Month, we’re highlighting how gentle movement and mindfulness help children thrive:

🌱 Adapted Movement: Gentle, modified poses build body awareness, balance, and coordination.

🌬️ Calming Breathwork: Slow, mindful breathing gives kids a go-to tool for managing big feelings.

🧠 Focused Mindfulness: Present-moment practice builds concentration and helps children feel grounded.

Every child moves at their own pace. Our team is here to support their unique journey with individualized care that helps them feel calm, confident, and connected. 💛

Siblings can experience big feelings, too. 💙

Changes in routines, divided attention, or moments they may not fully understand can sometimes leave siblings feeling worried, frustrated, or overlooked. Supporting them begins with making space for honest conversations and reminding them that every feeling is okay.

Small moments of one-on-one time, age-appropriate explanations, and regular opportunities to ask questions can help siblings feel secure, included, and valued. Most importantly, they should know they are not responsible for fixing difficult moments or always being the patient one.

Every child in the family deserves support, reassurance, and time to simply be themselves.

Save this as a reminder to check in with the siblings who may be carrying more than they say. 💙

Access2Adventure was more than a summer evening—it was a celebration of what becomes possible when barriers are removed. 💙

From live music by The Proper Way to activities, raffles, and community connections, the Ogden Botanical Gardens came alive in support of Ogden Valley Adaptive and its mission to create life-changing outdoor experiences for individuals with disabilities.

Catalyst Behavior Solutions was proud to be part of an event that brings people together while helping create more opportunities for confidence, belonging, and adventure.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Zen Den and joined us for such a memorable evening!

August at Catalyst was filled with plenty of fun! 💙

From Family Appreciation in St. Cloud to the Ogden Valley Adaptive fundraiser concert and Hill Air Force Base Civilian Appreciation in Utah, our team loved connecting with families and community partners. Back in our centers, we celebrated birthdays, encouraged creativity and movement, and welcomed a new school year together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these moments! Here’s to carrying that same energy into September! 🍁

Big feelings are a normal part of growing up—and with gentle guidance, children can learn to navigate these feelings with confidence. 💙

Here are a few practical ways to support your child's emotional regulation:
Name the feeling: 🗣️ Say things like "You seem frustrated" or "That made you excited." Putting words to emotions makes them easier to understand.
Offer calming strategies: 🧘 Deep breaths, a quiet corner, or a short break can help your child reset.
Co-regulate: 🤝 Stay calm and present. Your steady presence helps your child feel safe.
Celebrate the effort: 🌟 Every small step deserves encouragement.

Regulation isn't about avoiding big feelings—it's about learning to work through them. If your child needs support managing their emotions, our team is here to help. Reach out to us today at 866-569-7395. 💕 📱

Caring for your child starts with caring for you. 💛

When you support your child every day, it’s easy to put your own needs last. But taking time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Your well-being shapes how you show up with patience, energy, and love.

Simple ways to care for yourself:
✨ Rest when you can. Even a few quiet minutes help recharge.
✨ Stay connected with friends, family, or support groups who understand.
✨ Set small goals—a short walk, a favorite hobby, or a moment just for you.
✨ Ask for help. Accepting support is a sign of strength.

Caring for yourself doesn’t take away from your child. It gives them a happier, healthier you. You do so much every day, and you deserve care, too.

At Catalyst Behavior Solutions, we know that when parents and caregivers feel supported, children thrive. If you need guidance or support on your ABA therapy journey, we’re here for you—call us at 866-569-7395. 📞
