Why did your friend finish treatment faster than you? Because no two smiles are the same. Treatment length depends on your bite, tooth movement, growth, treatment goals, and—yes—how well you follow your orthodontist’s instructions.

Why waiting until all permanent teeth are in could mean missing the window for jaw guidance. 🛑

It is a common myth to wait until high school for orthodontics. However, modifying severe underbites, overbites, or narrow jaws requires utilizing your child’s active growth spurts. Once growth plates fuse, fixing structural skeletal issues becomes much more invasive.

Don't miss the window. Drop a comment or send a DM to book a quick growth check for your child!

The permanent white scars you don't want to see when your braces come off. 🦷

White spots around where your brackets used to be aren't stains—they are decalcification scars. When plaque sits around brackets for too long, acids eat away at the essential minerals of your enamel. Good news: this is 100% preventable with the right brushing technique!

Share this with a friend or family member currently rocking braces to keep their teeth healthy!

Missing these 2 braces blind spots? 🪥⚠️

Plaque loves hiding under the main archwire and along the gumline. Skipping these spots causes inflamed gums that can actually slow down your tooth movement!

The fix? Angle your toothbrush 45 degrees downward over the top of your brackets, then 45 degrees upward from the bottom.

Save this post to check your angles next time you brush tonight! 📲
