A busy 2 weeks here at the Nutrition Center. Here is the upcoming schedule of meals and activities.

Our Second Sunday Fundraiser will go to Tony and Laura Crumpton to help with their medical expenses. It is so great to have them back home.

Congratulations to this weeks winner. Cooper Martin. His Grandpa, Tim Martin picked up his winning. Cooper won two gift cards for a grill meal here at the Carter County Nutrition Center.

We will be giving out more food tickets each Friday this month. Come join us for lunch and enter.

Happy Fish Fryday. We have lots of fish for today. Fried and grilled. Plus, if you prefer, we offer a variety on our grill menu.

We have an opening for a dishwasher. 3 days min. Apply in person at the Nutrition Center.

We will be closed on Monday Sept 7 for the Labor Day holiday.

We are still taking orders for racks of ribs to benefit Tony and Laura next weekend. Proceeds from them and the Second Sunday lunch will all go to them. Join us Sept 13 for fried Chicken and ribs.

Come enjoy an open face beef or turkey sandwich today. Along with mashed potatoes, spinach, dessert and a beverage.

It is Senior Box Day today. If you are signed up, you can pick up your box from 1-2.

Happy Monday. It looks to be a hot one today, so do your best to stay cool and hydrated today.

We are serving a choice of Ham or Chicken Salad today. Along with chips, tomato & cucumber salad plus dessert. Lunch is from 11-1.

At 10 today, we have exercise classes. Join in the fun for approx 45 minutes if stretching and a light workout. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.

Tuesday is Senior Box day. Be sure to stop in today if you haven’t signed up yet. We will distribute Tuesday from 1-2.

We have several card playing groups. If you like playing cards, feel free to stop in. They are usually playing by noon or so.
Hand & foot is played daily. Bridge and 31 are played on Tuesdays. They are talking about starting Spades if there is interest. Come join in the fun.

There is still time to pre order some ribs to help Tony and Laura. $30 a rack of honey bbq’ed ribs. Just call us 573-323-8377
