We have a few spots available in our Play & Connect Summer Camp at More From Life Therapy!

Designed for children who could use a little extra support with:
✨ Making friends
✨ Taking turns
✨ Flexible thinking
✨ Managing big emotions
✨ Playing cooperatively
✨ Building confidence in social situations

Our camp is intentionally kept small (maximum 6 children) so every child gets individualized support and plenty of opportunities to practice new skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.

✨ OT @ Home: “Painting” with Water ✨

Not all kids love the feel of paint—and that’s okay!

If your child avoids messy textures, you can still build important skills by letting them “paint” with water 💧

All you need is:
-A cup of water
-A paintbrush (or even a sponge!)
-A surface like the sidewalk, fence, or construction paper

Let your child paint, draw, and create… and watch their masterpiece magically disappear as it dries!

💡 Why we love this activity:

-Builds fine motor skills (grasping and controlling the brush)
-Encourages pre-writing skills through strokes and shapes
-Supports kids with sensory sensitivities who aren’t ready for messy play
-Offers a low-pressure way to explore creativity

🙌 It’s a great “first step” before introducing thicker or messier textures like paint later on!

Try it outside on a warm day or inside with paper—and let your child create without the stress of the mess.
