School is back in session! 🍎 How is it going?

A new school year can bring new challenges — or make some of those familiar struggles a little more noticeable. If your child is having difficulty with things like:

And just like that, our first summer of camps at More From Life Therapy is a wrap! ☀️

Our campers spent the summer building, creating, moving, playing, making new friends, and doing a whole lot of laughing along the way.

Behind all that fun, they were also practicing some pretty important skills — working together, solving problems, trying new things, handling frustration, following directions, and regulating their bodies.

A huge thank you to all of the families who trusted us with their kiddos this summer. ❤️ We had so much fun!

🎒 The countdown to school is on! 🍎

Has summer completely changed your child's routine? As back-to-school gets closer, now is the perfect time to help them rebuild the skills and confidence they'll need for a successful school year.

Our Ready for School Camp is designed to help children practice important classroom skills in a fun, supportive environment led by an Occupational Therapist and Early Childhood Educator.

During camp, children will practice:
⭐ Following classroom routines
⭐ Managing big feelings
⭐ Building independence
⭐ Following multi-step directions
⭐ Using classroom tools
⭐ Making friends & working together
⭐ Asking for help & trying again

📍 Located in Vandalia, OH (just off I-75)

🕘 Morning Sessions (9:00-11:30): Ages 3-7
🕐 Afternoon Sessions (1:00-3:30): Ages 7-13
Age ranges are guidelines—please contact us if you're unsure which session would be the best fit for your child.

✔️ Small groups (maximum 6 children per session)
✔️ Two staff members in every session (Occupational Therapist + Early Childhood Educator)

Enjoy Silent Sundays at Adventure Reef

Looking for a calmer way to enjoy the water park?

Adventure Reef Water Park is now hosting Silent Sundays, a quieter, more comfortable experience designed for children and families with sensory sensitivities.

Join us every Sunday from 10:30–11:30 a.m. as we turn off the music and reduce excess noise, creating a more peaceful environment to enjoy the water.

Free for Kettering residents and water park members, and open to all families with sensory-sensitive children.

Designed for children who could use a little extra support with:

Our camp is intentionally kept small (maximum 6 children) so every child gets individualized support and plenty of opportunities to practice new skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.
