At Pine View, we take care of our own.

Right now, one of our team members, Tina, is facing cancer treatment and recovery, and we want to surround her with the same care and support she's shown our residents and this community for so long.

We're organizing a meal train and donation collection to help lighten the load for Tina over the next several weeks. If you're able to contribute a meal, gift card, or monetary donation, it would mean the world.

We were thrilled to have Appalachian Honey perform for our residents, staff, and families at Pine View yesterday. Appalachian Honey is an acoustic Americana duo based in the hills of Western Pennsylvania. Featuring the charismatic vocals of Krissy Jo, and the glittering mandolin of Damon Dosch. The duo specializes in both original music, as well as covers of songs from multiple genres. Our residents loved the show. Thank you Krissy and Damon!

It is with a great deal of excitement that we introduce you to Susan Long, the new Executive Director of Pine View Personal Care Home. Susan officially joined our community on Monday, June 16th, 2026, and we could not be more confident in the future she will help us build together.

Susan brings over a decade of experience in long-term and senior care to Pine View. Most recently, she served as the Administrator at Kane Ross Community Living Center, a 240-bed facility in Allegheny County, where she spent 14 years in progressively responsible roles spanning daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and resident advocacy. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hill University and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Susan knows this industry inside and out.

What truly sets Susan apart is the way she shows up for the people in her care. She is knowledgeable, energetic, and deeply compassionate. She brings a genuine passion for creating environments where residents feel seen, valued, and at home. Those qualities are exactly what Pine View has always stood for, and we are thrilled to have someone leading our team who embodies them so naturally.

On a personal note, Susan is a proud mother of two daughters and a Monroeville resident. She is a familiar face in our region and understands the community we serve.

Our commitment to our residents, families, and staff is that Pine View will remain the very best choice for care, community, and peace of mind. Susan's leadership will help ensure that promise is kept every single day.
