Today, our current residents and staff had their first opportunity to tour the new Emerald Islands building, explore some of the beautiful apartment spaces, and get a firsthand look at what this exciting new addition has to offer. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the walkthrough. We can't wait to welcome all of the new residents to this incredible community! At VOTI, moving in is more like coming home. 🏡

Our 2026 Staff & Resident Talent Show was a wonderful celebration of the amazing talents that make our community so special. From music and singing to comedy, storytelling, and more, the stage was filled with creativity and unforgettable performances.

Happy Nurses Week! 🩺💙 At Village On The Isle, our nurses are the backbone of our community. To kick off the celebration, we’re sharing the story of the woman behind our incredible nursing team: Kera Literal, our Director of Nursing Services.

Kera isn’t just an award-winning nurse leader; she’s the reason many of our residents say they feel safer at VOTI than anywhere else. Whether she’s mentoring her staff of 70+ caregivers or celebrating a team member’s baby shower, Kera treats everyone like family.

A few fun facts about Kera:

✨ She’s a massive Mariah Carey fan (and Christmas lover!).

✨ She’s a "K-name" mom to her son, Kellen, and four dogs.

✨ You’ll never see her without one of her signature water tumblers!

Under Kera’s guidance, our Health Center has maintained a CMS 5-Star Rating, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care in Venice.
