Eight months of rehab. This week they played 90 minutes of soccer.

Quad tendon recovery layered on top of a post ACL return to sport program. Not fully cleared yet. Still work to do. But this week they got on the field and ran with their team with zero symptoms.

That only happens when someone trusts the process and does not cut corners on the timeline.

The Hercules team is growing! ⚡️We’re looking for a sports oriented physical therapist to join us.

If you’d rather coach deadlifts and create return to sport programs versus give hot packs, we’re your people. This role will be low volume 1:1 sessions, semi private fitness training, and digital client support via our custom app. If you’re looking to use your skills outside of a traditional healthcare setting, comment “TEAM” for more details.

Lateral hip pain in golfers does not go away on its own. Here is where to start.

The lead hip takes serious stress through every swing. When the lateral tendon gets irritated, most people either stop moving entirely or push through and make it worse. Phase 1 is neither. It is a targeted isometric protocol that calms the tendon down while keeping the hip strong enough to handle progressive loading next.

Built for golfers dealing with lateral hip pain. Get it properly diagnosed first before starting any program.

Most physical therapy programs have a compliance problem that nobody talks about.

Research shows that nonadherence to home exercise programs reaches as high as 70 percent in some populations. The top reasons: forgetting, scheduling conflicts, not seeing results fast enough. The industry’s answer has been to print a better sheet of paper.

At Hercules, we decided to be a pain in the neck instead. We check in. We track compliance. We call people out when they go quiet, because the data is clear: 80 to 100 percent compliance is where the real results happen. Not the best program. Not the fanciest equipment. Consistency.

If your previous PT handed you a sheet and sent you home, that is not what we do.

90% improved. Working toward Hilton Head.

This golfer came in dealing with hip tendinopathy with a very specific goal in mind. Not just feeling better. Getting back to playing on a course that matters to them at a level they are proud of.

Hip tendinopathy tends to linger when it is not loaded and challenged the right way. This person put in the consistent work between sessions. The unglamorous kind. And results like this are exactly what that work produces.

Most training programs live in one plane. This one fixes what that misses.

If you play a sport that demands rotation, lateral movement, or single leg power, you need training that matches. This structural balance session covers everything your regular gym program leaves out: single leg work, rotational loading, hip and shoulder stability, and the accessory patterns that keep athletes healthy long term.

Built for athletes who want to stay on the field as long as they compete.

One-sided athletes are supposed to be asymmetrical.

Throwers, golfers, quarterbacks — they develop structural adaptations over years of training. Those asymmetries are often part of what makes them efficient at their sport. A static postural screen without context tells you almost nothing useful.

The better questions are: does it hurt in motion? Can you move through full range? Can you load it? Are you recovering? If the answer to all of those is yes, the asymmetry is probably not the problem. Bring that conversation to someone who understands your sport before assuming something needs to be fixed.

Three months. Not just back to normal, better than before.

This athlete came in dealing with persistent back pain and recurring flare-ups. They committed to the full three month program and did not stop when they started feeling okay.

That last part is the one that matters. Feeling better is not the finish line. Building the body back stronger than it was before the injury, that is the goal!.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us “REBUILD” if you have been dealing with back pain that keeps coming back and you want a plan to actually fix it.

Patellar tendinopathy does not get better with rest alone. It gets better when you load it correctly.

This is the phase 2 protocol we use at Hercules for athletes managing quad tendon pain who are ready to start training through it. The goal is eccentric overload. Slow, heavy loading is the best tool we have for building tendon strength and getting blood into tissue that does not receive much on its own.

Built for athletes in cutting, jumping, and loaded sports like CrossFit and powerlifting who need their tendon ready for those demands again.
