🔥 HEAT SAFETY TIP 🔥

Hot weather can turn dangerous FAST. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are medical emergencies everyone should know how to recognize.

🚨 Warning signs:
• Dizziness or confusion
• Heavy sweating or hot, dry skin
• Nausea or vomiting
• Rapid pulse
• Fainting

✅ What to do:
• Move the person to a cool area
• Give water if they are alert
• Apply cool towels or ice packs
• Call 911 immediately if they become confused, pass out, or stop responding

💡 If someone becomes unresponsive and is not breathing normally, start CPR immediately and use an AED if available.

Knowing CPR and first aid can save a life when seconds matter.

🚨 CPR TIP OF THE DAY 🚨

If someone suddenly collapses and isn’t breathing normally, don’t wait — call 911 and START CHEST COMPRESSIONS immediately.

✅ Push HARD and FAST in the center of the chest
✅ Aim for 100–120 compressions per minute
✅ Let the chest fully rise between compressions

Even hands-only CPR can DOUBLE or TRIPLE someone’s chance of survival before EMS arrives.

You do NOT need to be perfect to save a life.

Once you start CPR, keep going until:
✅ EMS or trained responders take over
✅ An AED is ready to use
✅ The person starts breathing normally
✅ You are physically unable to continue

Stopping too soon can reduce the chance of survival. Even if you feel tired or unsure — your compressions are keeping blood flowing to the brain and heart.
