Let's talk about something a lot of men prefer to skip over.,,

Prostate health is one of those topics that tends to get brushed aside, usually with an "I'm fine" and a change of subject. But for men over 65, knowing what's normal and what's worth a conversation with your doctor can make a real difference.

This isn't about scary news. It's about staying informed, staying ahead, and staying in control of your own health. That's what strength looks like. πŸ’ͺ

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 12 Years of Dedication! πŸŽ‰
Today, we are proud to recognize Tyesha King ("Ty") and celebrate her incredible 12-year work anniversary!
Ty joined our team on May 22, 2014, as a caregiver, providing compassionate care and support to our clients. After a few years in the field, she transitioned into the office as our scheduler, where her talent for organization, problem-solving, and customer service quickly became evident. Over the years, she has grown into her current role as Scheduling Manager and Assistant Administrator.
Ty is the person behind countless schedules, last-minute adjustments, and solutions that help ensure our clients receive the care they need. Her exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and commitment to both our clients and caregivers make her an invaluable part of our team. In fact, she is so beloved that clients frequently mention her by name in their positive reviews.
Twelve years of service is an incredible milestone, and we are grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and heart that Ty brings to our organization every day.
Please join us in congratulating Ty on 12 amazing years! β€οΈπŸ‘

June is Men's Health Month here at Senior Helpers, and we're kicking it off with a celebration of what aging well actually looks like. πŸ’™

For the men in our lives, getting older doesn't mean slowing down on the things that matter. It means being a little smarter about health, a little more intentional about routines, and a little more willing to accept support when it makes life better.

Gentle aging isn't about giving things up. It's about staying ahead: keeping up with checkups, moving your body regularly, staying connected to the people you love, and knowing that asking for help is one of the strongest things a man can do. πŸ’ͺ

Not all strokes come with obvious warning signs. Silent strokes and TIAs, or mini strokes, can happen without you even knowing, but both carry serious risks.

This month, we're helping you understand the signs to watch for, because awareness is the first step toward protection. Watch our latest reel to learn more. πŸ§ πŸ’™

Coming home after hospitalization for a stroke is a significant milestone, but the transition can feel overwhelming for both survivors and their families.

That's where we come in. Senior Helpers' Return Home program is designed to support stroke survivors as they transition back to the comfort and familiarity of home. From personal care and medication reminders to mobility assistance and companionship, our caregivers are there every step of the way.

Because recovery doesn't end at discharge. It begins at home. πŸ’œ
