This little ball of energy, Stormy, brings so much joy to my life every day. Whether it's a wagging tail, a silly antic, or simply being by my side, she reminds me that joy is often found in life's simplest moments.
At Senior Helpers, we see this every day with our clients, too. Joy can come from a favorite conversation, a walk outside, a cherished memory, a visit from family, or even the companionship of a beloved pet.

At Senior Helpers, we believe that taking great care of our clients starts with taking great care of our caregivers.
Each month, we conduct independent random caregiver satisfaction surveys to ensure our team members feel supported, valued, and equipped to provide the highest quality care possible.
We're proud to share that in June, 11 caregivers were randomly surveyed, and all 11 gave us a perfect 10 out of 10 satisfaction rating! 🎉
This feedback reflects the positive culture we've worked hard to build—one where caregivers are respected, supported, and recognized for the incredible difference they make every day.

The truth is, older men are less likely to ask for help, even when they need it. Not because they're not struggling, but because independence matters deeply to them. That's something worth respecting. It's also something worth gently working around.

Here are a few signs that the dad, husband, or father figure in your life might need a little more support than he's letting on:

🪞 A noticeable change in his appearance or hygiene.
🍽️ Unexplained weight loss or changes in appetite.
🎣 Withdrawing from hobbies or social activities he used to enjoy.

☀️ Behind the Scenes at Senior Helpers ☀️
When people think of home care, they often picture our amazing caregivers providing compassionate support in clients' homes. But behind every visit, phone call, and care plan is a lot of work happening behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
This summer, we've had a special extra set of hands in the office! Our summer intern has been helping organize files, prepare paperwork, and tackle the many details that support the care we provide each day. She's learning that making a difference in the lives of seniors isn't just about what happens in the field—it's also about the teamwork, organization, and dedication that happen behind the scenes.
As an added bonus, this intern happens to be the owner's daughter, making this a meaningful opportunity to share not only the family business but also the values of service, compassion, and hard work that have guided us for the past 16 years.
Because great care starts long before a caregiver walks through the door. ❤️
