If you want to crush the walking lunges at HYROX, it starts long before race day.

Walking lunges demand single-leg stability, hip strength, core control, and endurance. If one side is weaker than the other, you’ll feel it fast once fatigue sets in.

Inside a cupping + stretching session at Fixxed for back pain 👇

Back pain usually needs more than just “stretch what feels tight.”

In this session, we’re using a combination of:

• Static cupping
• Dynamic cupping
• Assisted stretching
• Range of motion work
• Mobility drills
• Movement-based treatment

Static cupping can help reduce tension and improve blood flow to the area, while dynamic cupping allows us to work through movement so the tissue can tolerate motion better.

Then we pair that with stretching and mobility work to help your body actually use the range of motion we just created.

The goal is to help you move better, reduce discomfort, and give your back more options so it doesn’t keep getting irritated by the same positions and patterns.

If your back always feels tight, cupping and stretching may be a helpful place to start!

We were so excited to welcome Tim, a coach at Mt. Olympus Gym and yogi with Mind Muscle Movement, into our studio. We worked on some neck and upper back stiffness that has been limiting his range of motion and causing nagging soreness in the right side of his neck. He also has some scar tissue on his arm from an old injury that we did cupping on to improve skin mobility!
