Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and hope of cancer survivors everywhere.

For many patients, a cancer diagnosis brings questions far beyond treatment. It can also bring uncertainty about the future and the family they hope to build.

Preserving fertility often becomes an important part of that journey.

At Collab Fertility, we are honored to help patients explore options such as egg, embryo, and s***m freezing before treatment begins, and to provide support during an incredibly challenging time.

We also work closely with organizations like The Chick Mission, LIVESTRONG Fertility, and the Heart Beat Program, which help eligible patients access grants, discounted services, and medication support for fertility preservation before cancer treatment.

Cancer treatment should never mean giving up hope for the future. Our goal is to help patients protect future family-building options while focusing on what matters most: healing.

We proudly support patients through a variety of family-building options, including:

• Gestational carrier journeys
• Fertility preservation for future family building

Through The Collab Way, we provide personalized, inclusive fertility care designed to meet patients where they are and support them throughout every step of their journey.

Last fall, we shared this patient’s pregnancy announcement after she conceived during her second month under Dr. Segal’s care.

After more than a year of trying to conceive while navigating PCOS and irregular cycles, she came to Collab Fertility for support. With a personalized treatment plan using letrozole and timed in*******se, she became pregnant quickly and recently welcomed her daughter, Adaline JulieAnn, on April 23.

Stories like this are an important reminder that irregular cycles should not be ignored and that many patients with PCOS can have successful outcomes with individualized fertility care.

Congratulations to this family and thank you for allowing us to share part of your journey. 🧡

After two miscarriages and no clear answers, Monique was told “sometimes this just happens.”

Then she became part of The Plastic Detox, and everything changed.

Through small, intentional changes and care with Dr. Segal at Collab, she went on to have not one, but two healthy pregnancies.

Her story is now live on the blog.

What should you know before choosing a fertility clinic?

Shelly McCall, our Clinical Nurse Manager, shares her perspective on what it means to be a patient at Collab Fertility, and why a more personalized, smaller practice can make a meaningful difference in care.

At Collab, we believe outcomes are shaped not just by protocols, but by attention, communication, and individualized treatment.

PCOS has officially been renamed PMOS and the shift reflects something many patients have felt for years: this condition has always been about more than the ovaries.

A new global consensus published in The Lancet renamed PCOS to PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome to better reflect the hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive complexity of the condition.

Many patients experience far more than irregular cycles or ovarian cysts, including insulin resistance, inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, skin changes, and fertility challenges.

At Collab Fertility, this whole-person perspective has always been central to The Collab Way.
