Congratulations to Dr. Neuls, one of our recent Champion Award winners! 🏆

He was nominated for the exceptional care and compassion he provides to patients and families. After a positive experience in the Emergency Department earlier this year, a patient’s family specifically requested him again when their son needed care—reflecting the trust he earned through his patient-centered approach.

As his patient’s family shared, Dr. Neuls demonstrated “a level of care and attention that goes beyond what is expected,” taking time to truly listen, communicate clearly, and ensure concerns were fully understood. They also highlighted his ability to treat patients as individuals, not just cases, which helped build strong trust and comfort during care.

They also noted his consistent follow-through and dedication to doing what is best for his patients—adding that even while on vacation, he still took time to check in and provide updates on their son’s care.

The Champion Award honors WMMC employees, providers, and volunteers who demonstrate courage, collaboration, and compassion every day.
