When the budget gets tighter, we all start deciding what can stay and what needs to wait. I know a facial appointment—or committing to a treatment series—may be difficult to fit in right now.

Please know there is no guilt attached to making the choices you need to make. I’m grateful for your trust, whether I see you every month, or if it’s been a while.

If you’re choosing between professional in-studio treatments and skincare at home, I would encourage you to prioritize a consistent home regimen. You don’t have to invest in both to care for your skin. What you use day after day is the foundation, and I’m happy to help you make those choices thoughtfully.

I offer consultations to help you build a routine that fits your skin, your goals, and your budget. That doesn’t have to mean a shelf full of products—just the right essentials and a clear understanding of how to use them.

You can also shop through the Onyx Skin Studio product links (via the website) and have your skincare delivered directly to you. I earn a commission from those purchases, so ordering through my links supports my small business exactly the same as if you were shopping with me in person.

My role is to help you care for your skin in a way that works for your life. Sometimes that means time in the treatment room, and sometimes it means a conversation and a manageable routine at home. I’m happy to meet you wherever you are!

Some people put a microwave in their break room. I’m putting an entire business in mine. Fig + Fare will have a dedicated space for platter orders here. Because apparently, my idea of taking a break from one business, is walking right into my other business.

The original tin ceiling at 217 is prepped, primed, and ready for its next era. Naturally, I’m giving a ceiling with this much personality a considerable amount of thought.

A little gratitude from the person behind the treatment bed:

In this industry, I have to be in the treatment room with a client to earn a living. There’s no paid vacation tucked away somewhere, and “taking a day off” has a fairly literal meaning. So when you make room for me and Onyx Skin Studio in your schedule + your budget, I notice.
