**National Small Business Week: May 3–9**

National Small Business Week is celebrated during the first week of May. This year it runs from May 3 to May 9. The week honors the entrepreneurs across our country who bring new ideas to life and help grow our economy. Thank you for supporting our small business, Piney Grove Family Medicine.

**National Nurses Week 2026: May 6–12**

National Nurses Week runs from May 6–12, ending on Florence Nightingale’s birthday. This year’s theme is *“Leadership in Every Moment,”* recognizing compassion, excellence, and the essential role nurses play in patient safety, recovery, and quality of life.

Without Crystal, Ashley, and Ashlee, our practice would not be what it is today. They embody the mission and vision of Piney Grove Family Medicine every single day.

**Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4–8**

We also can’t forget the incredible teachers who got us here. Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 runs Monday, May 4, to Friday, May 8, with Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, May 5. This week is set aside to honor educators for their hard work, knowledge, and compassion for students and learning.

🚨 Office Update – Early Closure Due to Weather 🚨

Due to the inclement weather, Piney Grove Family Medicine will be closed for the remainder of the afternoon to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

We are praying everyone stays safe this afternoon and evening as the weather moves through our area.
