🕊️ A Wildly Wonderful Visit! 🦉

Our participants at Saint Elizabeth Apponaug Adult Day Center had a special visit from Olivia of the Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of Rhode Island! She gave us an engaging behind-the-scenes look at the important work they do to care for and protect local wildlife.

Olivia brought along a beautiful white pigeon and demonstrated how wildlife patients are examined for injuries, including checking for broken bones and using X-rays to help diagnose their conditions. She also shared fascinating stories and patient case studies from the clinic, along with helpful conservation tips.

We wrapped up the visit with a lively Q&A, giving everyone a chance to ask questions and learn even more! 🐦💚

Thank you, Olivia, for sharing your knowledge and giving us such an interesting look at wildlife rehabilitation!

🦁🐒 A Day at the Zoo! 🦒🐯

Our residents from Saint Elizabeth Apartments for Seniors and Mobility Impaired enjoyed a fun day out at Capron Park Zoo! From seeing the animals to enjoying the beautiful surroundings, it was a wonderful day filled with smiles, fresh air, and great memories. 💚
