The federal government has officially moved ma*****na to a Schedule 3 drug. This change impacts federal testing agencies like the DOT, potentially altering workplace drug testing policies. While the FDA has declared intent to exempt certian testing devices, There is a comment period and rulemaking process are underway, alternative testing devices for oral fluid and hair testing may become available for DOT programs. *****naLaws

The DOT announced last week that there has been a slight change to its 2026 Random Testing Rates. Only one administration will be affected.

Don’t light up just yet!
The recent Presidential order does not change DOT drug testing requirements. Your DOT testing program still screens for THC, and a positive result can cost you your job. Stay informed and stay compliant!
