The playroom on our Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit just got a makeover! This renovated space is full of colorful designs, toys and interactive activities in memory of Jacob Crandall and Theo Richgels ❤️ These renovations were made possible through the generosity of their families.

Every bell ringing is a joyful celebration of strength, resilience and an incredible milestone: the end of treatment. 🔔 🎉
On our Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, team members make each celebration special for the patient, from bubbles and a favorite song to plenty of cheers. It’s all about celebrating each child in a way that feels meaningful to them as they mark this special moment.
Thank you to our Music Therapy, Art Therapy and Child Life teams for making these events so successful!

Our Children's National team members are always finding new ways to connect with patients during their hospital stay.
Anna, our Seacrest Studios Media Specialist, created an interactive story book titled A Dog Named Bird in collaboration with Allie from the Family Resource Center and art therapist Sharelle. The book is now part of the weekly programming! Stop by to pick up your own copy! 📚🐶🎙️
