The Patient Experience team is bringing the 3 C’s to life, Compassion, Communication and Collaboration.

Last week, they recognized their very first honoree: the 5 South CVC Unit for exemplifying these principles in everything they do. From supporting one another to delivering care with compassion, their impact truly stands out.

As Evelyn Logan, Director of Patient Experience, remarked, this team is making a real difference for patients, families and each other every single day.

Congratulations, 5 South, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for embodying the best of who we are!

Our people are what make GW Hospital exceptional and last week, we had the honor of celebrating them in a big way.

At the GW Proud Service Awards, 184 team members were recognized for milestone years of service, ranging from 5 to an incredible 45 years. The evening brought colleagues together for a memorable celebration featuring remarks from CEO Jason Barrett, dinner and dancing along the Potomac.

We also recognized 15 GW Proud Pillar honorees for their excellence across our core pillars: Service, People, Finance, Growth and Quality.

“Whatever milestone you’re celebrating, I want you to know that you’re a valuable member of our team,” said Barrett. “Thank you for all that you do for our patients and our organization.”

Congratulations to all, your dedication makes a difference every day!
