Meet Anna!!
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Anna(pictured left), our Activities Assistant and Bus Driver! Anna has been a valued part of our team for over 9 years and is truly a bright light in our community.
She is always willing to lend a helping hand, jump in wherever she’s needed, and most importantly, help create fun and meaningful experiences for our residents. From planning exciting excursions to making sure everyone gets where they need to go, Anna brings so much joy and energy to everything she does.
We are so lucky to have Anna on our team and are grateful for all the laughter, adventures, and memories she helps create for our residents!

Today, we’re celebrating the hard work and dedication of the people who keep our communities, families, and country moving forward. We’re especially grateful for our wonderful team members who show up every day with compassion, kindness, and heart.

Resident Spotlight: Carol!
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Carol, who has called Lookout Ridge home for nearly six years!
Carol loves participating in the games and activities at Arcadia, as well as joining us on outings around town. When asked what she loves most about living here, her answer was simple: “You can do what you want.” We love that!
Carol has lived all over the country, thanks to her dad’s career in the Army. She is the oldest of two siblings and has a younger brother. She also has a special love for cats, and has owned many throughout her life.
Carol is truly a joy to be around and brings her own special energy to Lookout Ridge. We’re so lucky she has made Arcadia her home and that she helps make our community a little more fun every day!

Resident Spotlight: Meet Martha!

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful resident, Martha! Martha has called Lookout Ridge home for nearly 4 years and has lived in Clark County since she was 12 years old.

Martha is the youngest of 11 siblings and has always enjoyed being creative. Over the years, she loved sewing, embroidery, crochet, and knitting. These days, what she enjoys most about living at Lookout Ridge is something a little different—visiting with her tablemates during meals and enjoying good conversation together.

Martha also has a special appreciation for sauerkraut (even if she’s the only one at the table who enjoys it!) and is a fan of Jeopardy, saying she misses Alex Trebek.

One special part of Martha’s story is that she and her husband were foster parents for 9 years, opening their home and hearts to children in need.

We’re so grateful to have Martha as part of our Lookout Ridge family and loved getting to know more about her story.

🌟 Saturday Resident Spotlight: Meet Eunice! 🌟

This Saturday, we’re shining the spotlight on another wonderful member of our Lookout Ridge family—Eunice! ❤️

Eunice has called Lookout Ridge home for about four years, but her roots in Camas run much deeper. She was born in North Dakota and eventually made her way to Camas, where she has now spent an incredible 65 years!

Family is especially important to Eunice. She has two sons, Jay and Gary, and five grandchildren who keep her heart full. ❤️

When asked what she enjoys most about living at Lookout Ridge, Eunice’s answer was simple: “That I’m well taken care of.” She also loves getting to know the people around her and makes it a personal goal to learn everyone’s name. 🥰

Eunice has had quite the interesting life! She served as a City Commissioner in Camas, spent 20 years as a tour guide at the Japanese Garden, and was even a massage practitioner for the Trail Blazers! 🏀

And perhaps one of our favorite Eunice stories? She was once the Queen of Camas Days and learned the proper way to wave to a crowd! 👑👋

Her advice for life is just as wonderful as her stories:

“Keeping a positive attitude is important, no matter what. You’re gonna do it!” ✨

We couldn’t agree more, Eunice! We’re so lucky to have you as part of the Lookout Ridge family. 💙
