Moment of honesty.

I saw a local business post a fear mongering sales tactic. It gave me the ick. I left a comment about it . And then I had an ever bigger ick. So I deleted my comment.

Why? Because it's none of my business what this individual tells her customers. My only business is what I tell my customers.

And I won't try to sell you something out of fear. (Well, ok, maybe the fear that it will sell out so you should buy it fast - but that's where I draw the line.) So you won't hear me say my soaps are chemical free (they're not). You won't hear me say that preservatives are bad. I won't jump on any of those bandwagons because for the most part they're false or only tell an extremely small part of the story.

What I will tell you... Why you need my products to take care of yourself. How my products bring you joy and calm. How my products simplify your self care routines. That is the calm in the chaos.

Reviews are truly one of a kind—I love getting them, and it always makes me a little sad when something doesn't completely hit the mark for a customer. Recently, Joyce left a 3-star review on one of our soaps, mentioning it has a "nice clean smell—not as much lather as I like." (Joyce, I've already sent a $6 store credit your way so your next bar is completely on me!)

Honestly though? Reviews like this are super helpful. They guide future customers toward the products that will suit them best. If you prefer a mountain of bubbles, this particular bar might not be your perfect match.

Lather is surprisingly subjective! It can vary a lot depending on:

Water quality (hard water vs. soft water)

What you use to lather up (hands, washcloth, or a mesh net sponge)

How the soap is stored between uses to dry out properly

For what it's worth, I’ve been using this exact same soap since the end of June, and I get plenty of lather (despite having hard water) with a mesh net sponge!

It’s been a 🔥 minute—and I’m not just talking about the heat.

I’ve been MIA, and honestly? Sometimes life just gets… life-y. The soap making has been quiet, but I promise I haven't forgotten about you!

The Current Situation:
🧼 Shampoo & Soap: Running low (oops).
🧴 Bath & Body: Looking good! (Unless you need body oil, then it’s a total grab bag depending on which collection you pick).

Don’t panic, though! I have a plan, and I’m officially tackling the to-do list... starting next weekend. I’m currently giving myself permission to actually enjoy this weekend first. 😉

Does anyone else have a "to-do list" problem? I feel like I have a dozen of them going at once. How do you keep yours organized? I’m looking for any and all advice!

Quick update from the Captain’s quarters! ⚓️

You know I’m all about keeping us 'Calm in the Chaos,' and lately, that means doing some serious spring cleaning (that started in 2019, but hey, it’s a process!).

I’ve decided to move some of our fragrances into permanent retirement. We’re calling them our 'Blissed Out' scents—the ones that have officially 'blissed out of existence' and are heading to the Zen Den (aka my private archives).

What to look for:
If you see a product with the 'Blissed Out' badge on the site, that’s your official signal that the bottle is empty, it’s officially retired from the lineup!

I’m clearing the deck so we can bring in even more calm for the crew. If your favorite is on the way to the Zen Den, grab it while you can—or hit me up for a custom order if you’re not ready to say goodbye yet! ✌️
