Congratulations to Christy Hamilton (Mares Campus-Infusion Therapy Pharmacy) for being selected as our employee honoree for the 2026 REACH Awards presented by Confluence Health! These awards recognize our employees and providers who demonstrate dedication to our organization and represent the best that Confluence Health has to offer.

In nominating Christy, his co-workers said, "Christy is not only an incredible human being, but also a pharmacist who embodies our core values at the highest level. She sets the standard for what it means to show up with integrity, compassion and unwavering dedication. Recently, she went the extra mile (literally) to ensure a patient received a critical medication. Late one night, Christy drove to the University of Washington to obtain the medication, then she immediately turned around and drove back to Wenatchee. Her extraordinary efforts meant the patient was able to have an important, time-sensitive treatment. Christy is a reminder that good people exist in this world."

Highlighting Cancer Recovery in Our Community

Confluence Health was happy to join EASE Cancer Foundation, Wenatchee Valley YMCA and others in welcoming Rep. Dr. Kim Schrier to the Wenatchee Valley to learn more about the impact cancer survivorship rehabilitation programs can have on participants.

During her visit, she connected with survivors, providers, and community partners, seeing firsthand how cancer rehab helps individuals regain strength and function, feel supported and uplifted, and rediscover a sense of normalcy after cancer treatment. Cancer rehabilitation and physical therapy deliver life changing results, often more effective and far more impactful than a medication, yet remain one of the most underutilized tools in healthcare.

Through collaboration with local organizations, the cancer rehab program continues to support survivors not just physically but emotionally and socially, demonstrating the power of care that extends beyond treatment. The support is powerful, as are the stories it makes possible.
