πΏ Tension Tuesday
Sometimes tension doesn't feel like tension anymore.
It's the shoulders that always sit a little too high.
The jaw you don't realize you're clenching.
The breath that never quite reaches your belly.
The ache you've gotten so used to working around that you barely notice the adjustments you make for it.
Our bodies are remarkably good at adapting.
But adapting isn't always the same as feeling well.
Today, notice the places you've stopped noticing.
Unclench your jaw.
Let your shoulders fall.
Take one slow, full breath.
Move something that's been still too long.
You don't have to fix everything today.
Sometimes caring for your body begins simply by listening when it whispers, instead of waiting until it has to shout.
πΏ Your body shouldn't have to scream to deserve your attention.
