Rebel Recovery FL Rebel Recovery is a low-barrier harm reduction peer support organization serving Palm Beach County.

Rebel Recovery is an organization dedicated to continued whole community health. We believe that in order to heal our community we must address substance use disorder at all levels and assist the people who are in or seeking recovery and their families in each stage of their journey. Through our community initiatives utilizing harm reduction practices, we aim to create a more compassionate and emp

athetic approach to serving those in our community. By meeting our participants where they are at without judgement or preconceived notions of what recovery must look like, we aim to create a more unified community where our folks and their families can feel loved and sheltered.

While this is difficult news, we assure you that Rebel Recovery and RiteLife Services are working to transition services as seamlessly as possible. All participants on our caseload have been contacted and the peer staff, alongside of RiteLife, continue to work with the individuals during this adjustment.

Good afternoon Rebel Family,
We are saddened to say that as of September 1st, we are no longer partnering with Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network to deliver peer support services to Palm Beach County. Rebel Recovery’s Peer Support Program will no longer be operative as of September 1st. Our peers have done nothing but amazing work in the community and continue to be beacons of hope for all recovery pathways.

Gratefully, we continue to provide community services under the programs of Parent Support, CHARS, HIV/HCV Navigation, FLASH and RADD. The doors are not closed for us or our community. The WPBFR invited FLFR to our meeting on Wednesday!
FLFR is ramping up their CORE efforts in their municipality, and we were honored to have the opportunity alongside WPBFR to share our experience and knowledge about the network and program. Communication and collaboration is so important and we love when our space and our team can be apart of facilitating that effort.

Productive day doing outreach in Lake Worth! We handed out several naloxone and found a ton of discarded syringes today. Most in one location. This indicates someone saw the police and discarded most of their spent syringes.

Education to law enforcement departments regarding the SSP exchange law coupled with stigma reduction is a huge part of what we do at Rebel Recovery FL.

We gave out naloxone, shared what groups we have coming up next month, shared overdose awareness day fliers and ended the night joining in with a meditation. See you next month!
