One of the strangest things about health is that you can explain the reason behind every single thing you’re doing and still have no idea whether all of those things make sense together.
You started the magnesium for sleep. The probiotic was for your gut. Someone recommended the protein goal to fix your blood sugar. You keep up on strength training because you know muscle matters as you get older. Obviously walking is good for you so you try to keep up on your 10,000-step goal. You cut out three foods because you felt better without them. None of those decisions are particularly ridiculous on their own.
But at some point somebody has to zoom out.
“I have a good reason for everything I’m doing” and “I have a good strategy” are not the same thing.
Strategies have priorities. A good strategy knows what we’re actually trying to change first. It knows which things can support that goal, which things can wait and which things have absolutely nothing to do with the problem we’re trying to solve right now.
Without a strategy, you can end up doing 14 perfectly reasonable things that somehow add up to one completely unreasonable health plan.
If you skip strategy, you sacrifice results. If you’re tired of doing all the right things and getting nowhere, it’s time for for real results from a plan that makes sense. Comment ME or DM us and we’ll tell you where we’d start.
