This video is a repost from who is a SQUARE 1 pro with ~8 months experience running the system. The following are his words:
“Here are some results using Square1 over the last week. You see range of motion improving, but why? If we aren’t even moving the shoulder, how are you getting improvements?
Because the shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, spine, pelvis, any joint in your body isn’t necessarily tight because the tissue itself is the problem. Rarely ever is fascia bound up, muscle tonus, or a joint “blocked” because that tissue itself is responsible. More than likely, it is the BRAIN trying to PROTECT that joint for whatever reason.
So you foam roll, stretch, joint move, rub, do whatever the industry tells you to do, and your body just reverts back to its old ways because you DIDN’T FIX THE PROBLEM. You tried to go after the symptoms, not the cause. And because of that, you got suboptimal results.
Square1 has created significant changes in 100% of the people I’ve tested in the past week (12 people). Those changes are in pain, range of motion, balance, and eye tracking ability. At least one of those things improved in the time I was given. 1 session ranging from 45 min to 1 hr on each person.
But the funny thing is, we weren’t trying to improve anything in particular. Square 1 has the framework, the practitioner uses it however they see fit, and whatever happens is going to happen. People don’t like having uncertainty in their outcomes. But you know what is worse than uncertainty? No results. Getting no results will keep you up at night if you care about what you do.
When you use Square1 correctly, something will always happen. We all compensate, that’s the way we were built. Built to survive no matter what. But when you see positive changes last for months on end, that is evidence that if nothing else, you are getting wildly close to the root cause of neuromuscular compensation.
Maybe, if enough people say something is worth a try, you’ll give it a try. The choice is yours. After testing over 100 people these past few months, I feel like more professionals need to have this on their radar…”
