Meet Morgan Robey, LAPC

At Graceful Balance, we're passionate about connecting clients with providers who are compassionate, skilled, and committed to lifelong learning—and Morgan is a wonderful example of that.

Morgan is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) serving clients in our Hanover, PA office. She works with teens and adults navigating life's challenges and is passionate about helping people find healing, hope, and resilience.

Her areas of focus include:

✨ Trauma-informed care
✨ Grief and loss
✨ Anxiety and stress
✨ Life transitions
✨ Emotional wellness and personal growth

Morgan is certified in grief work and understands that loss can impact every area of our lives. Whether someone is grieving a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or a season that didn't unfold as expected, she creates a safe space for clients to process and heal.

She is also continuing to invest in advanced training and will be pursuing specialized training in Brainspotting later this summer to further support clients healing from trauma and difficult life experiences.

Clients often describe Morgan as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. She has a gift for helping people feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they navigate their healing journey.

We're grateful to have her as part of the Graceful Balance team 🤍

When was the last time you simply stopped?

Not to check a notification.
Not to cross something off your to-do list.
Not to be productive.

Just to pause.

One of the things I love about nature is that it invites us to slow down. The trees aren't rushing. The birds aren't worrying about tomorrow. The wildflowers aren't striving to be anything other than what God created them to be.

Yet somehow, we often live as though our worth is tied to how much we accomplish.

Jesus frequently withdrew to quiet places to pray. He stepped away from the crowds, the demands, and the noise to spend time with His Father.

If Jesus needed moments of stillness, perhaps we do too.

This week, I want to challenge you to take a few moments to pause in nature.

🌿 Sit by a tree.
🌿 Take a walk.
🌿 Watch the clouds.
🌿 Listen to the birds.
🌿 Feel the breeze on your skin.

And as you do, resist the urge to fill the silence.

Simply notice.

Notice God's creation.
Notice His presence.
Notice what is happening within your own heart.

You may discover that God has been speaking all along—you've just been moving too fast to hear Him.

"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10 🤍

Founder’s Thoughts:

One of the things I've noticed over the years is how many people are exhausted from trying to piece together their healing journey.

A therapist in one place.
A nutritionist somewhere else.
A coach recommended by a friend.
A yoga class across town.
A podcast.
A book.
Another appointment.
Another solution.

And while all of those things can be helpful, many people end up carrying the burden of trying to connect all the dots themselves.

But what if healing wasn't meant to be that complicated?

What if the people supporting your mental health, physical wellness, spiritual growth, and nervous system could actually work together?

What if you didn't have to keep explaining your story over and over again?

What if care was integrated instead of fragmented?

That question is part of what led to the creation of Graceful Balance.

But even deeper than that, I've learned something else:

Some of the things we're searching for can't be found in a therapist's office, a nutrition plan, a coaching session, or a yoga class.

Peace.
Purpose.
Identity.
Belonging.

At their deepest level, those are things only God can fully provide.

The role of our team isn't to replace Him.

It's to walk alongside people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with the One who created them.

We believe counseling matters.
Nutrition matters.
Coaching matters.
Yoga therapy matters.

But we also believe that true wholeness happens when we stop separating what God designed to be whole.

Mind.
Body.
Spirit.

That's the vision behind Graceful Balance.

Not just more services.

A more integrated way to heal 🤍

Have you ever found yourself reaching for food when you're stressed, overwhelmed, lonely, exhausted, or simply needing comfort?

If so, you're not alone—and you're not lacking willpower.

Many of us have learned to use food as a way to cope with difficult emotions, busy schedules, or unmet needs. But what if, instead of judging ourselves for those moments, we became curious about them?

Join our Integrative Nutritionist, Michelle, for a gentle, faith-based workshop designed to help women explore emotional eating through a lens of compassion, awareness, and God's grace.

Together, we'll discuss:
✨ The difference between physical and emotional hunger
✨ Why food often becomes a source of comfort
✨ How to recognize emotional needs without shame
✨ Practical ways to respond to yourself with kindness instead of criticism
✨ What Scripture teaches about God's care for our hearts

This is not a weight loss workshop.
This is not about food rules or dieting.

This is an invitation to slow down, listen to your heart, and discover a more peaceful relationship with food, yourself, and God.

We hear this sometimes:

"I understand why I need therapy... but why nutrition?"

Here's why.

Your brain lives in your body.

The food you eat affects:

✨ energy
✨ focus
✨ mood
✨ blood sugar
✨ inflammation
✨ nervous system regulation

Nutrition isn't separate from mental health.

It's one of the foundations that supports it.

That's why we often say:

You can't separate what God designed to be whole 🤍

What if the missing piece isn't more motivation?

What if your body is missing something it needs?

Certain nutrient deficiencies have been linked to symptoms such as:

✨ Low mood
✨ Fatigue
✨ Brain fog
✨ Difficulty concentrating
✨ Low energy

Mental health is complex.

But we don't believe God designed us to treat the mind while ignoring the body.

Sometimes healing requires counseling.
Sometimes it requires lifestyle changes.
Sometimes it requires looking at what your body needs to function well.

And often... it's all of the above.

Because healing isn't one-dimensional 🤍

Today, our founder, Brittany Edie, had the privilege of attending the Pink Out fundraiser event in support of women in our community facing cancer diagnoses 🎀🤍

A special thank you to Patty Hegberg of Thrivent for the invitation and for supporting such an important cause.

The mission of Pink Out is one that deeply resonates with us. While cancer treatment often brings significant medical challenges, it can also create tremendous financial burdens for individuals and families.

The Pink Out Women’s Cancer Fund helps provide assistance for non-medical daily living expenses such as food, rent, utilities, wigs, prostheses, and other essential items that support dignity, confidence, and recovery throughout treatment.

Since 2007, this organization has helped lighten the burden for countless women in the greater Hanover community, bringing hope and practical support during some of life’s most difficult seasons.

We are grateful for the caring individuals who make this work possible and for the opportunity to support organizations that are making a meaningful difference right here in our community 🤍
