2,500 grafts with a natural-looking finish ✨

This patient came in with thinning through the front hairline and temporal areas. By addressing it early, we were able to add significant density where it mattered most while keeping the overall result soft, balanced, and natural.

One of the most important parts of this case is the donor area. With careful planning and our Regeneris approach, the goal is not just to restore the hairline, but to support healthy healing, preserve the donor area, and protect the patient’s long-term hair restoration options.

A natural hairline. A donor area that looks well healed. A result that blends from every angle.

That is what we focus on at NE Hair, New England Center for Hair Restoration.

Subtle changes can make a major difference ✨

This patient received 2,500 grafts to help lower and restore the hairline while improving areas of lower density in the crown.

Not every hair transplant has to be a massive transformation. With the right timing, planning, and technique, early intervention can create a natural-looking improvement while helping maintain the hair that is already there.

Our Regeneris approach emphasizes healthy healing, donor area preservation, and long-term support for both existing and transplanted hair.

The goal is not just more hair. It is a result that looks natural, blends well, and continues to support the patient’s long-term hair restoration plan.

Before you get a hair transplant, ask this question:

Who is going to follow up with you after the procedure?

In this video, Dr. Welter explains why follow-up care is such an important part of hair restoration.

We often see patients who had procedures done elsewhere and are later left dealing with patchiness, poor growth, visible donor area concerns, or uncertainty about what to do next.

A hair transplant is not just about placing grafts on top of the head. It is also about protecting the donor area, monitoring healing, supporting growth, and making sure the result is developing the way it should.

When you choose a local hair restoration team, you have access to follow-up care, in-person evaluation, and a long-term plan if anything needs to be adjusted.

Great hair restoration is not just surgery. It is planning, follow-up, maintenance, and preservation.

6 Month Follow-Up • Advanced Hair Restoration Case ✨

This patient came to us with advanced hair loss and very limited coverage across the top of the scalp.

At this stage, the goal was to restore meaningful density and volume, especially through the front, while carefully preserving the donor area for future planning.

At just 6 months, the improvement is already significant. Even more importantly, the donor area continues to look strong, which matters because this is a staged case. A future procedure is planned to continue building density across the remaining areas that need more coverage.

Hair restoration is not just about moving as many grafts as possible. It is about protecting the donor area, supporting the existing hair, and creating enough natural-looking coverage for the patient to have styling options again.

This is a great example of why long-term planning matters, especially in advanced hair loss cases.

About 1.5 Years Later • Two Procedures • Approximately 6,000 Grafts ✨

This staged hair restoration case shows how long-term planning can create a major improvement in density across the top of the scalp and crown.

With approximately 6,000 grafts over two procedures, the goal was to restore fuller-looking coverage while carefully managing the donor area and supporting both the existing hair and transplanted grafts over time.

Hair restoration is not just about moving hair. It is about maintaining what is already there, protecting the donor area, and planning for a natural result that can continue to look balanced over time.

A great result is planned for today, but also designed with the future in mind.

Hair does not grow in straight lines.

In this video, Dr. Welter explains how important natural hair direction is when planning a hair transplant.

This patient had a unique crown swirl pattern that needed to be respected while also using 3,000 grafts to add significant density through the front of the scalp.

A natural-looking result is not just about how many grafts are placed. It is about where they are placed, the angle they are placed at, and how well they blend with the patient’s existing hair pattern.

That is especially important in areas like the crown, where the hair naturally rotates in a spiral.

Careful planning helps create density while still preserving the patient’s natural pattern.

6,000 Grafts • Significant Density Improvement ✨

This case shows why hair restoration is about more than simply moving hair from one area to another.

This patient had thinning through the temples, crown, and top of the scalp. With 6,000 grafts, we were able to create much fuller-looking coverage through the front and crown while improving overall density across the scalp.

One important detail in this case is the crown pattern. Hair naturally grows in a unique swirl, so graft placement has to follow the patient’s natural hair direction to create a result that blends properly.

Just as important, our approach focuses on long-term planning. That means supporting the donor area, existing native hair, and transplanted grafts over time.

A great hair transplant should not only improve what you see today. It should be designed to look natural and age well into the future.

Corrective hair restoration requires a very different level of planning.

In this video, Dr. Welter discusses a patient who came to us after having multiple poor hair transplants done elsewhere. When a scalp has already been through several procedures, the strategy is not simply “add more grafts.”

The entire situation has to be evaluated carefully — the existing hair, the scalp, the donor area, prior graft placement, and what can realistically be improved moving forward.

Cases like this are exactly why long-term planning matters. A hair transplant should not just focus on today’s result. It should protect the donor area, preserve future options, and create a natural-looking outcome that can age well over time.

6 Month Follow-Up • Approximately 3,000 Grafts ✨

This patient had significant temporal recession and was growing out the center of his hair to help cover the thinning areas in the front.

After restoring the front hairline and temporal areas, he no longer has to rely on styling to hide the recession. The frame of his hairline looks much fuller, more balanced, and natural.

At just 6 months, this is already a strong result, with more growth and maturation still expected over the coming months.

A great hair transplant is not just about adding hair. It is about restoring confidence, balance, and the ability to style your hair without feeling like you have to hide anything.

Part 2: A meaningful restorative hair transplant case.

This patient came to us after prior cancer treatment on the scalp left him with significant scarring and skin graft areas on the top of his head.

The goal of this procedure was to use hair transplantation as thoughtfully as possible to help camouflage those scars, soften their appearance, and add coverage where we could.

Cases like this require careful planning because we are not just restoring density — we are working with scar tissue, skin grafts, donor availability, and the patient’s long-term goals.

He traveled all the way from Ohio by car to have this procedure done, and in this video, he shares a little bit about his experience and how the process went.

Hair restoration can be about much more than a hairline. Sometimes, it is about helping someone feel more comfortable and confident after everything they have already been through.
