Thank you to everyone who joined us for Dementia Training and Virtual Dementia Tour!

A special thank you to instructor Samantha Chase for leading an incredible day of learning, and to all the 13 attendants for the Dementia Training who gave their time to better understand and support those living with dementia. We were also fortunate to have the Virtual Dementia Tour host 22 attendants, which gave participants a powerful glimpse into what our loved ones experience when dealing with Dementia.

Parkview is proud to provide resources like this for our community. When we learn together, we care better together. 🌟

Parkview hosted 15 coaches from Wheeler, Kelton, Lefors and Sunray! We loved spending the morning with the people who pour so much into our young athletes. Your dedication to learning and growing makes a difference on and off the field.

Whether you're supporting football or track, come spend a morning building skills that keep your student-athletes healthy and performing their best.

You'll learn practical skills you'll use all season - taping and wrapping, warmups and cool downs, recovery, sport-specific exercises, and safe lifting techniques.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22 - Dementia Training for Caregivers 8:30am - 4:30pm | Wheeler Church of Christ A full-day course on person-centered care, behaviors, and practical skills for caregivers, nurses, and social workers.

THURSDAY, JULY 23 - Virtual Dementia Tour 8am - 5pm | Assisted Living at Parkview Hospital Step into the experience of someone with dementia. One-hour tours starting at 9am. RSVP required.

Dementia Training for Caregivers Wednesday, July 22 | 8:30am - 4:30pm Wheeler Church of Christ, 1001 S. Alan Bean Blvd, Wheeler, TX A one-day course designed for nurses, social workers, providers, and family caregivers alike.

Virtual Dementia Tour Thursday, July 23 | 8:00am - 5:00pm Assisted Living at Parkview Hospital, 901 S. Sweetwater St. An interactive experience that lets you step into the world of someone living with dementia. Tours last one hour, beginning at 9:00am, with the last tour at 4:00pm. Please RSVP!
