🧸❤️ Community Support Makes a Difference! ❤️🧸

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by the White Hall and Pine Bluff communities!

Recently, our Volunteer Coordinator, Kiarra Singleton, put out a request for baby dolls and stuffed animals for our dementia patients at Gentiva Hospice–White Hall. The response has been amazing! Community members have already begun dropping off donations, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

These dolls and teddy bears provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful engagement for many of our patients living with dementia. Something as simple as a doll or stuffed animal can bring smiles, spark memories, and offer a sense of peace and purpose.

The donations pictured are just a few of the wonderful items that have been given by caring members of our community. Your kindness and compassion help us continue to provide comfort and support to those we serve every day.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our post, or helped spread the word. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Here at Gentiva Hospice–White Hall, we are celebrating Customer Appreciation and want to take a moment to thank all of our patients, families, and community partners for the trust and support you continue to give us. It is truly an honor to serve our community and provide compassionate care to those who need it most.

To show our appreciation, we in the office put together a small token of love as a way to say thank you for allowing us to serve you and your loved ones. Your support and trust mean so much to our team, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. 💙

On May 21st, we held our monthly staff meeting. During this time, we always take a moment to recognize our Employee of the Month. For the month of May, we were excited to honor our Chaplain, Brandon York, as Employee of the Month! His dedication, compassion, and unwavering support for both our patients and team truly make a difference every day.

Our Director, Shelly Walker, proudly presented the award to our Chaplain, who came in and immediately began doing the Lord’s work through his kindness, encouragement, and servant heart. At Gentiva Hospice, we are seeking donations for our dementia patients. We are currently looking for individuals, families, churches, businesses, and community organizations who would like to donate baby dolls to bring comfort, companionship, and emotional support to our patients living with dementia.

These dolls can provide a calming presence, encourage interaction, and bring moments of joy and peace to those we serve. Every donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s day.
