Our staff spends every day pouring compassion, kindness, and dedication into the lives of our patients and their families. Today, it was our turn to pour something back into them! Everyone enjoyed refreshing lemonade with fun flavor options while taking a well-deserved break during IDG.

As we wrap up the month of June, we’d like to look back on the wonderful moments we shared throughout our community.

This month, the Gentiva Hospice–White Hall team had the opportunity to visit several local nursing homes to show our appreciation for the incredible staff and residents. From serving breakfast and hosting ice cream socials to simply spending time together, every visit was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt conversations.

We are so grateful for the warm welcomes we received at each facility. It is an honor to support those who dedicate their lives to caring for others, and we hope our small acts of kindness bring a little extra joy to their day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these visits possible. We look forward to continuing to build relationships, serve our community, and spread compassion wherever we go.

This morning, our team had the pleasure of serving breakfast to the incredible staff at Blossoms Nursing Home! 🍳☕❤️

Our Hospice Care Consultant, Aaron Threlkeld, was on the grill preparing a delicious breakfast with the support of our Volunteer Coordinator, Kiarra Singleton, Chaplain Brandon York, and our wonderful volunteer, Ivory.

At Gentiva Hospice–White Hall, we believe in recognizing and supporting those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Nursing home staff work each day tirelessly to provide comfort, compassion, and quality care to their residents, and we were honored to spend the morning showing our appreciation for all that they do.

The smiles, conversations, and fellowship shared throughout the morning made this experience truly special. It is always a blessing to partner with facilities in our community and find meaningful ways to give back to those who make such a difference in the lives of others.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Blossoms Nursing Home for your dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to your residents. We appreciate you and all that you do each and every day!

Today, the team from Gentiva Hospice – White Hall had the opportunity to visit The Springs of Pine Bluff for a wonderful Ice Cream Social with both the residents and staff!

What an amazing day filled with smiles, laughter, fellowship, and of course, plenty of ice cream. 🍦 We enjoyed spending quality time with the residents, getting to know them, sharing conversations, and creating special memories together. We were also honored to celebrate and show appreciation for the hardworking staff who provide compassionate care each and every day.

A special thank you to everyone at The Springs for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a fun and meaningful event. Community connections like these remind us of the importance of bringing joy, companionship, and support to those we serve.

Thank you to our Gentiva team members and volunteers who helped make this event a success. We look forward to many more opportunities to serve and connect throughout our community!

🧸❤️ Community Support Makes a Difference! ❤️🧸

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by the White Hall and Pine Bluff communities!

Recently, our Volunteer Coordinator, Kiarra Singleton, put out a request for baby dolls and stuffed animals for our dementia patients at Gentiva Hospice–White Hall. The response has been amazing! Community members have already begun dropping off donations, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

These dolls and teddy bears provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful engagement for many of our patients living with dementia. Something as simple as a doll or stuffed animal can bring smiles, spark memories, and offer a sense of peace and purpose.

The donations pictured are just a few of the wonderful items that have been given by caring members of our community. Your kindness and compassion help us continue to provide comfort and support to those we serve every day.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our post, or helped spread the word. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
