Things we as massage therapists want you to know 🫶🏻
• It’s okay to ask for a quiet session today, even if we usually chat.
• It’s okay if you haven’t shaved your legs.
• It’s okay if you came straight from the gym.
• It’s okay if you need lighter pressure than usual.
• It’s okay to ask for more pressure, too.
• It’s okay if you fall asleep.
• It’s okay if you’re carrying stress, grief, overwhelm, or big emotions.
• It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what’s hurting.
• It’s okay to speak up if something feels uncomfortable.
• it’s okay if it’s been months (or years) since your last massage.
• It’s okay if today’s goal is simply to relax.
Your massage isn’t about being the perfect client. It’s about meeting your body where it is today.
