Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation, a non-profit corporation, had its humble beginning in 1971 located in a trailer in rural Leslie County, Kentucky. In the 50+ years since MCHC has grown into one of the largest rural health centers not only in the state of Kentucky but also in the United States. Currently, the clinics are located in Letcher, Perry, Owsley, Harlan, Bell, Pike, and Knott counties. MCHC has a long history with its patient base. KPhA is proud to congratulate member Aaron Dixon of Hazard on his appointment to the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

Dixon, pharmacist in charge at Mountain Comprehensive Health Corp.’s Hazard Pharmacy, was nominated by KPhA for consideration by the Governor and has been appointed to serve on the Board.

His four-year term begins January 1, 2027, and runs through December 31, 2030.
