We want to let our patients know that the messaging feature within our Patient Portal is temporarily unavailable as we complete maintenance and system improvements designed to enhance your experience.

Hey fellas, let’s talk. 🗣️ June is Men’s Health Month, and it’s the perfect reminder that taking care of yourself isn’t just about hitting the gym—it’s about the whole picture.

Too often, we put our health on the back burner until something goes wrong. This month, let’s change that narrative.

Here is your checklist for June:

Schedule that annual checkup (the one you’ve been delaying).

Talk to your doctor about prostate cancer screening. If you’re 50+ (or 45+ with a family history), a simple PSA blood test can catch things early when they are most treatable.

Check in on your mental health. Strength isn’t about carrying it all alone.

Reach out to a bro. A simple "how are you really doing?" goes a long way.

Prioritizing your health isn't selfish; it’s essential for you and the people who count on you. 💪

Expert Laser Care at Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation
Is your vision feeling a bit "fuzzy" after cataract surgery, or have you been told you’re at risk for glaucoma? At MCHC, Dr. Hailey Caudill provides advanced, non-invasive laser treatments to protect your sight and bring the world back into focus.

Clear the Clouds: YAG Capsulotomy
It’s common for vision to get blurry months or years after cataract surgery. This isn't a new cataract—it’s just "scar tissue" (posterior capsular opacification) forming behind your new lens.

The Fix: Think of it as "polishing the lens implant."

The Procedure: A quick, painless laser creates a small opening in the cloudy capsule.

The Result: Sharp, clear vision is restored instantly.

Protect Your Sight: YAG LPI
For patients with narrow angles or angle-closure glaucoma, prevention is everything. High eye pressure (IOP) can lead to permanent vision loss if not managed.

The Fix: A YAG Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI) creates a microscopic opening in the iris.

The Procedure: This allows fluid to flow freely, preventing dangerous pressure spikes.

The Result: A proactive step toward long-term eye health and peace of mind.
