Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, and embraces persons of all spiritual paths. Organizations, individuals, groups, teachers, and students are invited to share the energy of this sacred space. The Center offers lodging and meals for individual retreats, group retreats, seminars and sabbatical stays. You’re also welcome to have your day meeting or overnight gathering of your small faith community, ho

spital, church, educational or management group at the Center. Situated in a tranquil forest setting with guest house, hermitages (small cabins), and camping on 125 secluded acres, the Christine Center has served the spiritual needs of thousands of people from all over the world for almost thirty years. You’re invited to partake of its silence and beauty, and to participate in its opportunities for personal spiritual deepening and global transformation. Spiritual seekers are drawn to The Christine Center by the activities of a vibrant community, prayer, contemplation and work. The Center offers retreats on spirituality, transformational change and inner development. It hosts a diverse and wide range of workshops and retreat programs. As a Catholic retreat center, it welcomes opportunities to engage in dialogue with teachers and seekers of many spiritual paths. The Center also offers services such as spiritual guidance, bodywork, and recreational activities which can supplement your reflection and relaxation. A supportive, natural environment provides you with the ambience for a contemplative practice, creativity, or nurturing the Spirit within. Many come to explore inner awakening, holistic living and honesty in relationships. Out of this energy the Christine Center offers its signature program “Spiritual Deepening for Global Transformation.”

Sacred Sound, Sacred Silence
June 26-28, 2026
with Kaita Bliffert, Fred Bliffert and Ron Moor

Sound can become a doorway into silence. Through simple Sanskrit chants, call-and-response Kirtan, and silent meditation, this weekend invites you to let voice, breath, and stillness support healing, grounding, release, and deeper awareness.

Together we will explore chants for healing, a Seven Chakra chant with sound, movement, and imagery, a Saturday evening sonic journey, and a Sunday morning Heart Sutra chant and meditation.

This July, come pull up a beach chair – no sand required – and join us online for four relaxed conversations around Wisdom Untethered, the new book from Michael Singer.

Facilitated by Chris Flynn, this online summer book circle invites us to step back from the mind’s constant commentary and rediscover the spacious freedom that comes from allowing life to unfold.

In a world that feels increasingly divided, the way we speak and listen matters. A single conversation can create distance or open a doorway toward understanding. When we pause, notice our intention, and listen with care, communication can become more than an exchange of words. It can become a practice of presence, compassion, and connection – with ourselves, with one another, and with the wider world.

So many of us are carrying more than we name – the wider unrest of the world, the tenderness of personal burdens, and the stress and pain that can gather in the body, mind, and spirit. What would it be like to step away for a little while and give yourself permission to reconnect with something deeper within? Even in uncertain times, there can be a steadier ground waiting to be remembered.

What does freedom mean when we remember that our lives are woven together?

Over the 4th of July weekend, this retreat invites a deeper inquiry into freedom – not simply as independence, but as interdependence. Through the Dances of Universal Peace, simple movement, sacred phrases, music, nature, an evening fire, and a Saturday evening sound bath, participants will enter a living field of connection and belonging.

Meet Your Guides!

With years of spiritual practice, teaching, and community care, Pema and Amber invite participants into an extended weekend of loving kindness and shared discovery.

Pema Lisa Antoniotti was ordained in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition in 2002 and has taught meditation and compassion practices since 2004. As co-founder, teacher, and program director of Joyful Path Meditation and Healing Center, she invites others to awaken kindness, cultivate presence, and live with compassionate intention.

Amber Mattingly's work is shaped by Christian faith, theological scholarship, yoga, and somatic healing. As a pastor, yoga teacher, and soul coach, she offers trauma-informed, inclusive practices that support self-compassion, radical inclusion, and spiritual resilience.

Together, Pema and Amber invite a weekend of shared practice and mutual discovery – exploring gentleness, patience, and joy through compassionate awareness, meditation, and community support.
