Future health care heroes walked our halls! Mercy Health — Willard Hospital was thrilled to welcome 5th-grade students from Willard Elementary for a behind-the-scenes look at life in health care.
Throughout the school year, four of our hospital professionals had the opportunity to work with students through the REACH program — a year-long initiative focused on developing important success skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and treating others with respect.
To celebrate the end of the program, students toured the hospital, explored a variety of health care careers and discovered how many different roles work together to support patient care and community wellness.
Inspiring the next generation of leaders and health care professionals is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Thank you to Willard Elementary and REACH for allowing us to be part of this meaningful experience!
