🚶‍♀️ Another destination reached! Our Albright LIFE Lycoming walkers logged an incredible 242 miles, enough to make it all the way to Seaside Heights! 🌊☀️

We celebrated with a little armchair travel, Beach Boys music, beach volleyball and seaside-inspired snacks, including fish and fresh green pepper strips from our garden with ranch for dipping.

Of course, no beach day would be complete without iced tea topped with fancy umbrellas. Some of our participants even turned their umbrellas into hair accessories for a little extra beach flair!

Way to go, walkers! Where will your miles take you next? 👏

⚾ Little League spirit is alive and well at Albright LIFE Lycoming! ⚾

Our participants, some who were former Little League coaches and players, enjoyed watching the opening game of the Little League World Series. Some even attended the parade and brought back signed baseballs, treats and plenty of great memories to share.

We’ll be cheering on the players throughout the next two weeks, and, of course, rooting for Dugout the mascot! 🧢👏⚾

We love celebrating the incredible people who make up our team! 💜

We’re excited to share that one of our very own leaders will be kicking off the Alvernia University University Women’s Council Women’s Conference on September 11 with a keynote about something so many women need to hear: the importance of making your own health and well-being a priority.

She’ll be sharing insight on the health signs women too often ignore and encouraging women to invest in themselves — physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

We’re so proud to see members of our Kinship team sharing their knowledge, leadership, and passion throughout the communities we serve.

We’re excited to congratulate Dr. Benin on his new role as Enterprise Chief Medical Officer for Kinship Health!

Dr. Benin previously served as Medical Director for Kinship PACE South Florida and will now expand his leadership across our PACE programs, helping strengthen care coordination, quality outcomes, and clinical practices.

We’re grateful to have his experience and leadership supporting our teams and the participants and communities we serve.

There's nothing sweeter than good company, great memories, and a classic treat! ❤️🍦

Today, we celebrated National Root Beer Float Day with delicious root beer floats and plenty of laughs. We also honored Lucille Ball's birthday by watching some of her funniest I Love Lucy moments, including the iconic chocolate factory scene.

The laughter echoed throughout our center, reminding us that sometimes the simplest moments create the best memories. 💙

Coordinated, community-based care makes a difference!💙

A recent study found that PACE participants living with disabilities experienced fewer admissions to skilled nursing facilities and spent fewer total days receiving skilled nursing care compared with established benchmarks.

PACE brings medical care, therapies, medications, social support, transportation and other services together through one coordinated team, all with the goal of helping participants remain safe, supported and as independent as possible in their communities.

We enjoyed introducing them to our program, our participants, and the team-centered approach that makes the LIFE model so special. Our physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians, personal care staff, transportation teams, and many others work together to support the whole senior, helping older adults remain healthy, independent, and safely at home in the communities they love.

Thank you to our wonderful Outreach Coordinators, Arona and Sabrina, for helping make the visit so meaningful. We look forward to continuing the conversation and finding new ways to support older adults throughout our communities.

Fresh from the garden to the kitchen! 🥒🌿

Our garden at Albright LIFE Lycoming is overflowing with fresh herbs and vegetables, so our participants put those fast-growing zucchinis to good use by baking delicious Banana Zucchini Bread and Classic Zucchini Bread!

From shredding and measuring to whisking and baking, everyone played a part in creating these tasty treats, and the zucchini bread was a huge hit!

Beyond the delicious results, activities like these help promote cognitive skills, standing tolerance, upper body strength, and fine motor coordination, all while making memories and having fun together.

There's nothing better than enjoying homemade treats made with ingredients grown right in our own garden! 🌱🍞
