🎶 What an incredible weekend! 🎶

Homewood Living Ministries was honored to partner with our friends at IMC during the 2026 Pennsylvania Gospel Music Festival in Shippensburg, PA.

From exceptional worship and inspiring messages to meaningful conversations and fellowship, it was a true blessing to be part of this special event. We enjoyed connecting with so many wonderful attendees and spending time with an extraordinary lineup of artists, including Greater Vision, Legacy Five, The Guardians, The Erwins, The Mark Trammell Quartet, Karen Peck & New River, Phillips, Craig & Dean, The Booth Brothers, Poet Voices, Scotty Inman, Dennis Swanberg, and Babbie Mason.

Thank you to IMC, the talented artists, volunteers, our Homewood Living residents, and everyone who attended for making this a weekend filled with faith, encouragement, and community. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of Homewood Living Ministries and celebrate together in worship.

We are delighted to welcome Brian Lancenese as the new Executive Director of Homewood Living Frederick!

Brian brings a strong background in senior living leadership, health care administration, team development, resident services, and continuing care operations. He will serve residents, families, and co-workers across our entire campus, including Residential Living, Assisted Living, and the Health Care Center.

Known for his collaborative and practical leadership style, Brian is committed to quality service, strong communication, teamwork, and supporting communities where seniors can thrive.
We are grateful to have Brian join Homewood Living Frederick. Please help us give him a warm Homewood welcome!

✨ Building Connections. Sharing Perspectives. Strengthening Senior Living. ✨

We were honored to welcome Seth Anthony, and Kelsey Rasmussen from LeadingAge PA PA to Homewood Living Plum Creek for a meaningful day of conversation, collaboration, and learning.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce members of our Sales & Marketing team, including several professionals who are new to their roles, and to discuss how industry partnerships help us grow, learn, and better serve older adults. We also enjoyed sharing the Homewood Living story, our mission, and the unique benefits of Life Plan Community living.

We were delighted to share our campus, introduce our team, and provide a glimpse into the rewarding work taking place every day at Homewood Living.

We are grateful to LeadingAge PA for investing in relationships, professional development, and collaboration across the senior living field. Together, we continue to strengthen our ability to serve seniors with compassion, excellence, and purpose.

Last night was incredible at the Second Annual Taste of Senior Living! We were thrilled to host and compete alongside 13 incredible senior living communities—and even more excited to bring home the award for Best Appetizer! 🥇
Chef John and our incredible dietary team knocked it out of the park with their Appalachian-inspired dish featuring fried catfish and morel mushrooms, two ingredients with deep roots in the Appalachian region. We absolutely loved the creativity, passion, and heart they put into every bite! ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support this amazing event, our fantastic judges, all 13 participating communities for making the evening so much fun, and of course to everyone who helped support Washington County CARES and their mission in our community.
We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to do it all again next year! ⛰️🍽️✨

A Masterpiece Created with Heart ❤️

We are truly blessed to have so many talented and passionate artists and craftsmen in our Homewood Living communities.
Recently, a group of gifted residents at Homewood Living Plum Creek came together to create a stunning backlit stained-glass display that beautifully represents Homewood Living Ministries and each of our communities. The piece now serves as a striking focal point in our lobby.

Resident Tom Kenny handcrafted the stained glass, while fellow residents John Liversberger, Dirk Wildasin, and Don Miller of the Plum Creek Woodshop designed and built the custom walnut frame and light box. Dirk carefully selected the beautiful walnut used in the project, while Don and John helped bring the design to life through their craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Together, these gentlemen created more than a work of art. They created a lasting symbol of community, creativity, and the gifts that continue to enrich life at Homewood.

🌟 Sharpening Our Skills. Strengthening Our Mission. 🌟
This week, the Homewood Living Ministries Sales & Marketing team gathered at Homewood Living Spring House for our quarterly training and development event.
We spent the day expanding our knowledge through intensive education provided by our valued partner, Ledgerock Solutions Consulting. Beyond the learning, it was a wonderful opportunity for camaraderie, collaboration, connection, and plenty of laughter.

We are incredibly blessed to have such a talented team of professionals who are passionate about serving seniors and helping them discover the benefits of life at Homewood Living.
A special thank you to Roni Fogelman and the Ledgerock team for delivering an outstanding day of education, insight, and inspiration.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and strengthen our ability to serve seniors and their families with excellence.
