Early detection of lung cancer saves more lives. Low-dose lung CT screening is recommended for eligible individuals who are at higher risk for lung cancer.

You may qualify for a low-dose lung CT scan if you:
• Are between 50 and 77 years old, and
• Currently smoke or quit smoking within the past 15 years, and
• Have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer, and
• Have a smoking history of at least 20 pack-years (for example, smoking one pack a day for 20 years)
