We appreciated the opportunity to join fellow Community Health Center leaders from Care Alliance Health Center, Neighborhood Family Practice, and Ohio Association of Community Health Centers in this important conversation with Rep. Shontel Brown’s office.

Discussions like these help ensure our patients, workforce, and communities remain at the center of policy decisions across Ohio.

Yesterday, OACHC hosted a discussion with Congresswoman Shontel Brown's office alongside Community Health Center leaders Dr. Ken Griffin, President and CEO of Care Alliance Health Center; Kelley Sullivan, Chief Pharmacy Officer, and Shannon Majoras, Chief Administrative Officer, of Signature Health; and Domonic Hopson, CEO of Neighborhood Family Practice.

Together, we discussed protecting 340B, strengthening the healthcare workforce, improving Medicare policies, advancing Food is Medicine initiatives, and ensuring Community Health Centers have the tools and resources needed to serve Ohioans.

Thank you to Congresswoman Brown's team for the thoughtful conversation and for engaging directly with Community Health Center leaders on the issues impacting patients and communities across Ohio.

We’re proud to support trauma response efforts in Lake County 💙

Adrienne Green, MSW, LISW-S, Signature Health Director of Geriatric Services, served as this year’s educator for Lake Adamhs Board’s Lake County Trauma Response Team training, presenting on “Trauma Response and Older Adults.”

The training was hosted at our Signature Health Willoughby office and brought together partners from Crossroads Health, University Hospitals and Extended Housing

The Lake County Trauma Response Team provides free, coordinated support to communities in the aftermath of traumatic events.
