What is “change talk”?
Change talk includes the thoughts and statements that reflect your desire, ability, reasons, or need to make a positive change.
The more you hear yourself talk about change, the more likely you are to take action.
Ways to strengthen change talk:
• Ask yourself: “What would be better if I changed?”
• Explore your own reasons — not just others’ expectations
• Focus on small, realistic steps
• Notice and repeat your personal motivation
Remember: lasting change does not come from pressure. It grows from your own readiness, your reasons for wanting better, and the support you allow yourself to receive along the way.
