Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is more than stress after a difficult experience. It is a real mental health condition that can affect anyone after trauma — including veterans, first responders, survivors of abuse, accidents, violence, or medical emergencies.

PTSD may look like:

Flashbacks or nightmares
Anxiety or panic
Trouble sleeping
Feeling constantly alert or unsafe
Avoiding people, places, or memories
Irritability or emotional numbness
Difficulty concentrating

Healing is possible, and help is available.

What can help:

Talking with a trusted professional
Support from family and friends
Healthy sleep and daily routines
Counseling or therapy
Learning healthy coping strategies

You do not have to wait until things feel unbearable to ask for support.

Mental health care is health care.

When Allergies Need Extra Help 🌷

Seasonal allergies are common, but they shouldn't keep you from enjoying life.

Talk with your healthcare provider if:
• Symptoms are affecting your daily activities.
• Over-the-counter treatments aren't helping.
• Allergies are triggering asthma symptoms.
• You have ongoing sinus issues.

Relief may be closer than you think.

Taking Steps Toward Behavioral Change 💙

What is “change talk”?

Change talk includes the thoughts and statements that reflect your desire, ability, reasons, or need to make a positive change.

The more you hear yourself talk about change, the more likely you are to take action.

Ways to strengthen change talk:
• Ask yourself: “What would be better if I changed?”
• Explore your own reasons — not just others’ expectations
• Focus on small, realistic steps
• Notice and repeat your personal motivation

Remember: lasting change does not come from pressure. It grows from your own readiness, your reasons for wanting better, and the support you allow yourself to receive along the way.

Every small step forward matters.
