Twenty-five years later, I still don’t always have the words. I simply get quiet—and remember the people, the courage, the unity, the sacrifice, and the unbearable loss. To everyone still carrying the weight: we see you, we honor you, and we will never forget.

25 years ago, our world changed in a matter of hours.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS, dispatchers, healthcare workers, volunteers, and ordinary people who did extraordinary things.

But maybe “Never Forget” should mean more than remembering what happened on September 11th.

Maybe we should also remember who we became on September 12th.

For a moment, we stopped seeing our differences and started seeing each other.

Remember the lives. Remember the sacrifice. Remember the courage. Remember the humanity. 🇺🇸

First day of Catholic school. First school uniform. First official fashion crisis. 😂

“It’s disgusting. I WON’T LOOK PRETTY!”

Ma’am…you’re five. I did not personally design the Catholic school fall collection. 🤦‍♂️😂

But underneath all the first-day chaos, something hit me hard: one minute you’re packing diaper bags, and the next you’re packing lunches and watching your baby walk into school.

The days are long. The years are WAY too damn short.

Good luck, Lady D. ❤️ And yes…you looked absolutely beautiful in your “disgusting” uniform.
