Ten years after Pulse, the lesson remains the same: hate destroys, compassion heals. The question isn’t what side you’re on. The question is what you’re teaching the next generation.

I’ve spent 30 years helping first responders, healthcare workers, trauma survivors, and raising kids. What topic do YOU want me to tackle next? Drop it below. Fair warning: answers may contain psychology, sarcasm, and absolutely zero sugar coating. 😏👇

Your demons don’t show up when life is easy. They show up when you’re exhausted, grieving, stressed, and questioning everything.

Good.

Because that’s when courage gets to prove what it’s made of.

Fear says, “You can’t.”

Courage says, “Watch me.”

And if nobody has told you lately… you’re stronger than you think, tougher than you know, and you were never meant to fight alone.

Now go do some epic s**t and try not to be a dick. 💪

Every scar has a lesson. Every mistake has a purpose. The people doing amazing things aren’t avoiding failure—they’re learning from it. Stop chasing perfection. Start chasing growth. Make mistakes. Learn the lesson. Keep moving. 💯

If your entire belief system collapses after three follow-up questions, you don’t have a movement… you have a bumper sticker.

Passion matters. Conviction matters. But understanding what you’re fighting for matters even more.

Agree, disagree, or argue in the comments—but at least know why.

One thing I’ve learned is this:

If you can’t answer simple questions about what you believe in, your protest starts looking less like a movement and more like a group project nobody prepared for.

Look, disagree with me. Disagree with your neighbors. Disagree with the government. Hell, disagree with gravity if that’s your thing.

But if someone asks, “What exactly are you protesting?” and your answer sounds like a broken Roomba bouncing off furniture, we may have a problem.

Passion is not a substitute for knowledge.
Volume is not a substitute for facts.
And a hashtag is not a substitute for understanding.

You should be able to explain your position without screaming, name-calling, blocking people, or telling everyone to “do their own research” while simultaneously admitting you haven’t done any yourself.

If you truly believe in a cause, you should know it well enough to defend it, discuss it, and explain it to a reasonably intelligent golden retriever.

Otherwise, you’re not protesting.
You’re just participating in interpretive outrage.

Carry on.

Father’s Day ranks behind holidays most of us forget exist… and somehow dads are still expected to grill their own steaks. Make it make sense. 😂🥩👔

🪣 The Bucket of S**t Theory™

Great minds gave us some of the most influential theories in psychology:

🧠 Erik Erikson — Theory of Psychosocial Development
🛋️ Sigmund Freud — Psychoanalytic Theory
🏔️ Abraham Maslow — Hierarchy of Needs

And then there’s me…

🪣 Dennis Carradin — The Bucket of S**t Theory™

The premise is simple: Everybody gets a bucket. Life keeps throwing s**t into it. Trauma, stress, bad decisions, toxic people, family drama, work nonsense, and that one person who replies-all to every email.

The goal isn’t to pretend the bucket is empty. The goal is to learn how to carry it without dumping it on everyone else.

And remember… I ain’t W***y Wonka. I don’t sugar coat s**t

The first responder is often the citizen who finds the emergency. The rest of us are the trained professionals who show up next. Maybe it’s time for a new conversation. 🚑🚒🚓
