Dr. Jurek earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University in 2005 before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Indiana University in 2008. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with a lifelong interest in human movement, performance, and rehabilitation.
Alongside his wife, who is also a physical therapist, Dr. Jurek has always pursued a lifestyle centered around outdoor recreation and new experiences. This passion led their family to spend a decade in southwest Oregon before traveling throughout the United States while working in physical therapy through travel contracts, virtual consultations, and consulting opportunities.
Dr. Jurek believes every goal is an athletic pursuit, whether helping an athlete return to sport, recovering from injury, or improving the strength and confidence needed to safely navigate daily life. His treatment philosophy focuses on individualized care that helps patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
Seeking a community that offered both a high quality of life and access to outdoor recreation, Dr. Jurek and his family chose Wi******er as their home. He looks forward to serving the community and watching his children, Faith and Fisher, grow and thrive in the years ahead.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jurek enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and staying active.
