The Recovery Center - RCC The Recovery Center is dedicated to providing recovery support services in Wi******er/Clark County, Kentucky

The Recovery Center is a Recovery Community Center located in Wi******er, Kentucky and is dedicated to providing a wide range recovery support services. Our community is fortunate that this work began in 2016 as a grassroots effort, and later a non-profit organization, Achieving Recovery Together (ART). On January 1, 2023, programs and services transitioned to operate as expanded services of the Clark County Health Department. All posts prior to January 1, 2023 on this page reflect the hard work and dedication of the team. If you are experiencing an overdose or other emergency please call 911. Today we were able to take Hope Bags that were made up of Narcan, drug testing strips, CPR masks and resources to Wi******er PD, Clark County Sheriff Office and Wi******er Fire Department. It is important that we share these resources with our community partners to get them out in our community.

The 2026 Kentucky Opioid Symposium was a wonderful time to recharge. We were able to attend both days to get resources, meet many people all over Kentucky and reset to be better prepared to serve our participants. Owensboro is beautiful and so are the people doing this work in Kentucky. We are proud to be part of it!

Today we got to connect with the DFYC at GRC. Turning these old newspaper stands into Naloxone boxes. What a blessing to get the youth in the Drug Free Youth Club involved in a wonderful and powerful thing for our community.More to come, keep an eye out for how they finish them!
