These young ladies are part of the local AHEC Program. The Area Health Education Centers or AHEC Program is a federally funded program created from 1971-1972 to help recruit, train, and retain healthcare professionals in rural and underserved communities!

Here at WPT we think this program is AWESOME for our local students as it gives them experience observing different areas of healthcare in order to help them decide what they’d like to do with their future.

We were pumped to show them a little of the day to day here at Winnfield Physical Therapy!! Maybe we inspired a future Physical Therapist on this day!!
