Everyone put on their thinking caps and collaborated to answer some fun questions. We had lots of discussions, especially over the more challenging questions. A big thank you to these special guests for joining us and helping to keep everyone's minds engaged! 🧠

This week's forecast? ☀️ Endless sunshine, good friends, and plenty of reasons to smile.

Our Members made the most of every beautiful day, getting outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, enjoying refreshing drinks, sharing laughs with friends, and embracing the freedom to spend each day exactly how they choose. Whether relaxing on the patio, joining in on activities, or simply enjoying great company, this week was a wonderful reminder that life is meant to be lived to the fullest.

These men totally crushed this Raise the Bar class! 💪

They practiced lunges to build lower-body strength and deadlifts to improve posture and enhance functional strength. They always come to class with positive attitudes, eager to succeed and get physical. Way to go, men! 🤩👏

Caps off to an A+ Commencement Week Signature Experience! 🎓🌟

This graduation season, our Members proved that making memories never goes out of style! We kicked off the celebrations by suiting up in our caps and gowns, striking a pose for our senior portraits, and taking a trip down memory lane. 📸 Since we’ve all grown much wiser as seniors, we wrote down some great advice to give to the younger generations. 📖 Take it from us when we say to stay focused on your goals, trust the process, have faith in your journey, and always choose happiness along the way. And, no commencement celebration would be complete without senior superlatives! Congratulations to our Wellness Warrior Ed, our Making Moments Matter recipients, Sherrill and Maureen, and all of our other outstanding peers. 🏆 We were also honored to welcome our friends from Trellis Supportive Care, who delivered an inspiring commencement address. Their message reminded us to reflect on the milestones we've achieved and the obstacles we've overcome. To close out the festivities, we turned up the volume and celebrated with the soundtrack of our senior year! 🎶 Here’s to celebrating all of our most cherished milestones! 🎉

Members set sail at our S.S. Homestead Cruise Signature Experience! 🚢🌊🏝️☀️✨

We jumped right into the fun by heading to Caesars Virginia for a little slot machine action! 🎰 After winning big, we headed to the community for a wooden boat challenge! Creativity met competition as Members decorated, built, and fine-tuned their very own wooden boats before putting them to the ultimate test on the water. The best part? Watching everyone cheer each other on as the boats launched and sailed across the water! And what’s a cruise vacation without a cocktail in hand?! 🍸 Brea dropped anchor for an exciting mixology demo, where Members made their very own fruity cocktail creations. ⚓️ We sipped on these before experiencing a fun animal towel folding crash course. 🦀 It combined our motor skills, dexterity, and cognitive well-being while exploring the luxurious hospitality practices we encounter on vacation. It even brought us joy to see them upon returning from all our exciting activities. Next up on the itinerary, heading down the gangway for a delicious dinner party. Yes, we even had our very own iconic Jack-and-Rose photo-op moment on the way. 📸 Members dressed to impress, and each made their grand entrance. Our incredible dining team launched off the night with a delicious menu inspired by the deep blue sea. 🐟 Members then took to the dance floor as they grooved along to the live tunes of Penny Candy. 🎶 Our incredible programming teams absolutely blew this day out of the water. It SHORE was a great experience! 🌊
