What a wonderful Saturday we had at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services for our annual Trunk or Treat! The turnout was GREAT, and it was so much fun to see everyone come together for an afternoon of Halloween fun.

Our residents loved seeing all the little ones in their adorable, creative, and sometimes spooky costumes. They enjoyed passing out candy and visiting with the kids, and many dressed up for the occasion too!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated candy and helped make this event possible. A special shout-out to our staff who decorated their trunks, handed out treats, and volunteered their time. Your creativity and generosity did not go unnoticed!

Bringing our residents, families, staff, and community together is what makes events like this so special. Thank you to everyone who came out. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Last week, we wrapped up Halloween Dress-Up Week at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services with our biggest costumes yet and a Halloween party! We played games, snacked on Halloween treats, and even sipped our drinks out of blood bags. There were costumes, spooky surprises, and lots of laughs all around.

The fun carried over to our Trunk or Treat the next day, and it was great to see all the little ghosts, goblins, witches, and superheroes stop by.

It's everyone's favorite dress-up day at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services: Pajama Day, Halloween style! We traded our everyday clothes for our coziest pajamas, and plenty of spooky prints showed up too. Everyone got into the spirit, and the laughs were just as comfy as the outfits.

Our staff has been getting into the Halloween spirit, and we've been having a spooktacular time all week long!

Yesterday was Halloween Character Day, and staff showed off their creativity with a variety of festive costumes. We love seeing our team join in the fun and help create special moments for our residents. Their enthusiasm, laughter, and imagination make every day a little brighter.

Witches, Wizards, and a Little Hocus Pocus at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services!

Day 2 of Halloween Dress-Up Week brought plenty of magic and fun to WRHS with Witches and Wizards Day! Our team transformed into the iconic Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus, bringing smiles, laughter, and a little Halloween mischief throughout the day. Of course, no Sanderson Sisters appearance would be complete without Binx joining the fun!

BOO! Did someone say Halloween? It's officially Halloween Week at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services!

We kicked off the week with our first dress-up day, and our staff showed off their Halloween spirit by wearing festive orange, black, purple, and green. It was the perfect way to start a week full of fun, creativity, and seasonal excitement.

We're looking forward to seeing all the themed outfits and activities the rest of the week brings. Stay tuned as we continue celebrating Halloween together and making plenty of fun memories along the way!

What a blast we had at karaoke! Our residents filled the room with music, laughter, and plenty of smiles as they sang along to favorite tunes and cheered each other on. It was an afternoon full of fun, great memories, and lots of entertainment. We love seeing everyone come together and enjoy activities that bring so much joy.

This month, we’re celebrating two people who make Wisconsin Rapids Health Services a special place to call home!

Our October Resident Spotlight is Julie! Julie loves getting involved in activities, meeting new people, and spending time with friends throughout our community. She has a way of making connections wherever she goes and always seems to know everyone! Her friendly, outgoing personality brings so much joy to those around her, and we’re so grateful for all the memories she continues to make with us.

Our October Employee Spotlight is Emiliegh, one of our wonderful housekeepers! Emiliegh puts so much care into making sure our residents’ rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, especially by our residents, who are always quick to share how much they appreciate her. Beyond everything she does each day, it’s Emiliegh’s kindness and thoughtfulness toward our residents that truly stand out.

We had a great time making orange cream floats with our residents!

Everyone enjoyed creating their own sweet treats and spending time together during this fun activity. To add a festive touch, residents decorated their cups with pumpkin faces before enjoying their delicious floats.

It was a simple but memorable afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and a taste of fall fun!
