💙 Rotary Spotlight: Building a Stronger Community Through Collaboration 🤝

Earlier this month, we were fortunate to welcome Jen Farmbrough from ODC as our Rotary speaker! Jen shared an insightful look into ODC’s Co-Responder Program and the important role it plays in our community. 👏

🚓🧠 Jen works alongside local first responders when responding to calls involving individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. She joins officers and other responders right at the scene to help assess the situation, provide support, and connect individuals with the resources they need.

But the support doesn’t stop when the call ends! ❤️ Jen also follows up with individuals afterward, helping with referrals, connecting them to services, and providing continued support along the way.

It was incredibly interesting to learn how this collaborative approach brings together law enforcement, first responders, and mental health resources to better support people during some of their most challenging moments. 🙌
