Wooster Eye Center extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Jody Armstrong. Jody passed away this week following a battle with cancer.

The strength and grace Jody demonstrated throughout her illness served as an inspiration to all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.

For twenty years, Jody was a valued member of our team, sharing her knowledge, kindness, and dedication with patients and coworkers.

Her commitment to caring for others and her willingness to support those around her made a lasting impact on our practice.

Our thoughts are with her wonderful family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Congratulations to Kim C!

We celebrated her retirement this week. Kim has worked in the surgery center for 26 years. We appreciate her dedication and she will for sure be missed!

She will still help us out from time to time when she can in between adventures and enjoying her grandkids!

Wooster Eye Center extends our condolences to the family of Thomas Barker. Tom passed away this week after a brief battle with cancer. Tom was a dedicated member of our staff for over 40 years sharing his knowledge with staff members and patients alike.

His dedication was second to none! Rest in peace Tom. You will be missed but remembered with a smile!

Please follow the signage- Friendsville road is open to allow access for patients of Wooster Eye Center.

Please be respectful of our patients and do not use us as a pass through to Milltown Rd. Our Milltown Road entrance is NOT open .

The businesses across from us on Milltown are accessible by coming up Milltown from Cleveland Road. (Milltown Professional is excluded- must use Friendsville entrance)

Please allow yourself the time and go around!

Today is National Doctor’s Day but we feel we don’t need just one day to recognize our doctors. We are thankful for the care and services they provide the community every day of the year!

Starting Monday, March 30th please use our Friendsville Rd entrance. You must access Friendsville Rd. from Burbank Rd.(Rt. 83) as the intersection of Friendsville Rd. and Milltown Rd. will be closed for repairs. The City of Wooster is anticipating a 3 day closure but be prepared for additional days.

Please allow extra time when traveling to our office for your appointment. Thank you.

Attention:
Due to the sewer line project taking place on Milltown Road by our office we ask that you allow extra time so that arrival for your appointment is on time.

At this time using our entrance off of Friendsville Road is the best bet as the entrance off of Milltown Road may or may not be accessible depending on what work is being done.

If it changes we will post an update. The City of Wooster also posts construction updates on their page as needed.

Our very own Dr. Miedel and his son Aaron will be participating in the game tonight! Wooster Eye Center is proud to sponsor this event once again this year!

Join Adaptive Sports Ohio for the 12th Annual Celebrity Sled Hockey Game presented by Weaver Custom Homes at Alice Noble Ice Arena in Wooster TONIGHT - 3/13! The game features the Wooster Wildcats sled hockey team facing-off against some of the toughest local and state celebrities on the ice! Doors open at 5:30 and the game starts at 6. The annual fundraiser supports the Wooster sled hockey program and features a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and the opportunity try sled hockey for ONLY $2 per person! Admission is $5 payable at the door.
