Each year, lung cancer kills more Americans than colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined. However, it is also often preventable. Quitting smoking can prevent, screenings can diagnose, and new therapies can treat lung cancer more effectively than ever before.

In honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Bassett Healthcare Network is holding a lung cancer event on Nov 6 in Cooperstown. Come learn about the disease, our screening program, and other resources!

Visit us on 11/6/2026 as we shine a light on lung cancer! Learn about lung cancer, Bassett’s Lung Cancer Screening Program, and other community resources.
