Congratulations to Sonja Wingate, our Nurse of the Month for May!
Sonja has been a valued member of the Legacy Village family for 17 years. Her favorite part of her job is building meaningful relationships with the residents, their families, and her co-workers.
When she is not at work, Sonja enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, her sons David, Toby, Ben, James, and Chris, her soon-to-be daughter-in-law Quay, and her sons' girlfriends, Samy and Lexy. She loves traveling, dancing, reading, going to the movies, and spending time with friends.
A fun fact about Sonja is that she was born and raised in Germany and enjoys visiting there whenever she can. She also cherishes her faith and her love for Jesus.
Thank you, Sonja, for your dedication, compassion, and many years of outstanding service to our residents and community. We are grateful to have you as part of the Legacy Village team.

🎶☀️ What a great night for our first Music on the Lawn of the season!

Residents, families, and guests enjoyed an evening filled with music, laughter, and wonderful company. A special thank you to Rusted River for providing fantastic entertainment and helping make the evening so memorable! 🎸🎤

Congratulations to Kim Fyffe for being selected as Aide of the Month for May!
Kim has been a dedicated member of the Legacy Village team for 13 years. Her favorite part of her job is caring for our residents and making a positive difference in their lives each day.
When she is not at work, Kim enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her amazing family. A fun fact about Kim is that she is a proud GREAT-Grandma!
Her hobbies include gardening and shopping.

Legacy Village would like to congratulate our own Angie Parks as she is the 2026 recipient of the $8,000 Mount St. Joseph Rehab Center Platinum Scholarship presented by the Ohio Health Care Association (EFOHCA). Angie will be using this scholarship as she attends Clark State College to complete her RN program. Angie has worked at Legacy Village for nearly 15 years as a Nursing Assistant and the staff and residents LOVE her. She is hard working, kind, and intelligent. Congratulations Angie!!!

Our residents had a wonderful time making and enjoying delicious strawberry shortcakes topped with fresh, juicy strawberries from Jackson's Farm Market

Congratulations! 🎉 Rhonda has been a dedicated member of the Legacy Village team for the past 10 months. She brings with her an impressive 39 years of experience in healthcare, including 13 years as a nurse and 21 years as a phlebotomy technician.
Her favorite part of her job is caring for the residents and working alongside such great coworkers.
Outside of work, Rhonda enjoys watching football and basketball, as well as cheering on her granddaughter at cheer competitions. A fun fact about Rhonda is that she loves riding motorcycles and is a die-hard Steelers fan. She also enjoys traveling, bowling, skating, and participating in online auctions.
