Let’s give a Sees the Day shout out to Lawanna, a women who has helped thousands of people find their way to long-term recovery! Today we are celebrating her Anniversary-Birthday, 61 years old, 22 years of continuous sobriety. She has helped many individuals to See the Day with her candor and bitting wit, all done for the right reasons. Awesome job Lawanna.

Let’s have a Sees the Day shout for Lawanna who was awarded a beautiful bouquet of flowers for winning the York City Police’s Nice Person’s Award. Officer Nice accompanied by our Alumni Ashley presented Lawanna with the flowery prize. Remarkably Ashley celebrated 3 years of continous recovery today! A happy Anniversary to Ashley and thank you Officer Nice for making our day a little nicer. Lawanna. You are remarkable.

Another successful guitar session with Wellness Court. Making musical connections and learning a new hobby, all important elements for long-term recovery. Shout out to Erica, Probation Officer who took time out of her Friday night to make this happen. Sees the Day is glad to be a part of it.
