Veteran's Corner has been a work in progress all year. At first, it started at as time that I got to spoil them with treats and coffee just for them. I quickly learned they wanted more. One meeting we discussed different options of what to do and I think we hit a slam dunk. They really want interaction. The first meeting with the new structure was one of our own sharing his pictures from the time he served in Korea. Then we arm chaired traveled to South Korea to see it now. It was the perfect morning.

Party favors are in. We can't wait to celebrate with you.

It was beyond a long and beautiful week. We had two outings this week due to a rescheduling last week due to the weather. Wednesday, we ventured out to Crabbs tropical treat. The smiles speak for themselves. The service there is authentic and outstanding. The environment is one of a kind. We love when families stop in and hang out with us on outings.

Thursday, we were invited to Friendship Community Church Dover Pa's early bird special for their annual giveaway. The crowd gets bigger every year. This is something a few residents look forward to all year long. Many residents make donations all year long to my office for this event even if they don't come along to shop. The hospitality shown to our residents by the volunteers of the church is exceptional.

Unfortunately, today we held our last Mother's Day Tea. The event has become more than that, it will now be A Mother's Day Affair! The excitement of Wayne & Gene coming back for their first performance of the year has been building anticipation for a few weeks and today was worth all the wait! We are blessed to be on their books when they are home from Florida. They were up and dancing, some before the actual show even started and of course they always gain a few groupies everytime they are here.
